Napoleon Binkap Bali (born 28 November 1963) is a retired Air Vice Marshall (AVM). He is also a Nigerian politician and senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District. [1] [2]

The 2023 Plateau State gubernatorial election will take place on 18 March 2023, to elect the Governor of Plateau State, concurrent with elections to the Plateau State House of Assembly as well as twenty-seven other gubernatorial elections and elections to all other state houses of assembly. The election—which was postponed from its original 11 March date—will be held three weeks after the presidential election and National Assembly elections. Incumbent APC Governor Simon Lalong is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to a third term.

Bala Ibn Na'allah is a Nigerian politician and senator. He is representing Kebbi South Senatorial seat in the Senate of Nigeria and was the Deputy Majority leader in the 8th Nigerian senate. On August 29, 2021, Na'allah's eldest son, Abdulkarim Bala Na'Allah was murdered by unknown assailants in his residence in Kaduna state. In 2023, Na'allah lost his reelection to the Senate as he was defeated by Garba Maidoki who polled 75,232 votes while Na'allah scored 70,785.

The 2019 Nigerian Senate election in Plateau State was held on February 23, 2019, to elect members of the Nigerian Senate to represent Plateau State. Ignatius Datong Longjan representing Plateau South and Hezekiah Ayuba Dimka representing Plateau Central all won on the platform of All Progressives Congress while Istifanus Gyang representing Plateau North won on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party.

The 2023 Nigerian Senate elections in Plateau State will be held on 25 February 2023, to elect the 3 federal Senators from Plateau State, one from each of the state's three senatorial districts. The elections will coincide with the 2023 presidential election, as well as other elections to the Senate and elections to the House of Representatives; with state elections being held two weeks later. Primaries were held between 4 April and 9 June 2022.
