Nassau Container Port is a major container port in Nassau, The Bahamas. 20% of Nassau Container Port port is owned by 11,000 members of the Bahamian public, 40% of the port is owned by the government of The Bahamas, and 40% is held by Arawak Cay Port Development Holdings Limited, a consortium of private investors from the shipping industry. [1] Nassau Container Port is located on Arawak Cay, a man-made island that was built in 1969 from dredging spoils. Shipping operations from the island began in the 1980s, while the Nassau Container Port itself was completed in 2011. [2]

[3] Furthermore, the port has 60 reefer points, three Liebherr cranes, three mobile cranes, two container cranes, and five reach stacker. The Red Hook Marine Terminal is an intermodal freight transport facility in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City, on the Upper New York Bay in the Port of New York and New Jersey. The maritime facility handles container ships and bulk cargo and includes a container terminal. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) bought the piers in the 1950s when there was still much break bulk cargo activity in the port. The container terminal was built in the 1980s. The Haldia Port, officially Haldia Dock Complex (HDC), is a port on the confluence of the Haldi River and the Hooghly River. The port is located at Haldia in West Bengal, about 130 kilometres (81 mi) from the sandheads–deep sea area of the Bay of Bengal, 45 kilometres (28 mi) upstream from Pilotage Station at Sagar and 104 km downstream of Kolkata. In 1968, an oil jetty was commissioned at Haldia, and officially in 1977 the port facility of Haldia started functioning as a subsidiary port of the Port of Kolkata under the name Haldia Dock Complex.

It is located in the south-eastern region of Bannerman Town, South Eleuthera. In March 2019, The Walt Disney Company purchased the peninsula from the Bahamian government, giving the company control over the area.

FCP is owned and operated by Hutchison Port Holdings, and opened on July 16, 1997. Since then, Freeport Container Port has become a major transshipment hub in the Western Hemisphere, earning the nickname "Transshipment Hub of The Americas."
