Nassir Nuh Abdi or Dr. Nuh Nassir Abdi is a Kenyan politician. He belongs to The United Party of Independent Alliance (UPIA) and was elected to represent the Bura Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya on Orange Democratic Movement-Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election to 2013 [1] He served in the following parliamentary committees: •departmental committee on Health ( vice chairperson) •select committee on standing orders • powers and privileges committee • select committee on constituency fund

Contested in the 2013 Kenyan parliamentary election for Bura Constituency on Wiper Democratic Movement-Kenya and lost with a margin of eleven (11) votes He was elected as the Speaker of the first county assembly of Tana River in March 2013 after the general election Dr. Abdi Nuh was subsequently elected Chairman - Assemblies Forum or the county assemblies forum CAF, a forum for the speakers and members of the 47 county assemblies of the Republic of Kenya in April of the same year

He holds a Bachelor of Veterinary medicine (BVM) from the University of Nairobi

Marende was a candidate for Speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya's 13th Parliament, but was defeated by former Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula who garnered 215 votes ahead of Marende who managed 130.

Otuoma Paul Nyongesa is a Kenyan politician. He was a member of Orange Democratic Movement until 21 April 2017 when he tendered his resignation. He was elected to represent the Funyula Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election and was the minister for the Local Government from 2010-2013. He was a member of Parliament for Funyula Constituency until August 2017 when he contested for gubernatorial seat for Busia County against his rival Sospeter Ojamoong but failed. Otuoma was born on 15 September 1966. He attended Khalsa primary school in Nairobi, Eastleigh High School in Nairobi from 1981 to 1984, and then went to Nairobi School from 1985 to 1986. Otuoma is a veterinarian by training, holding a Bachelor's of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Nairobi (1991), where he also earned an MBA in 2001. He is married with 5 children.

Mbadi John Ng'ongo is a Kenyan politician. He belongs to the Orange Democratic Movement and was elected to represent the Gwassi Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election.

Hassan Ali Joho is a Kenyan politician and the former Governor of Mombasa County affiliated with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). He was also elected to represent the Kisauni Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya during the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. On 4 March 2013, during the general election, Joho was elected as the first governor of Mombasa County. In the 2017 General Elections held on 8 August, Joho retained his seat on an ODM ticket. Despite significant politically engineered setbacks, Joho emerged triumphant by winning with 220 576 votes against his closest rival Suleiman Shahbal with 69 322 votes, Suleiman was a member of the Jubilee Party. Joho served as governor of Mombasa until 2022, when he completed the constitunionally allowed two five-year terms. He was succeded by Abdulswammad Sherrif Nassir the former member of the National Assembly for Mvita Constituency.

Maitha Gideon Mung'aro is a Kenyan politician who has served as the governor of Kilifi County since August 2022. As a member of the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy and the Orange Democratic Movement, he was elected to represent Kilifi North Constituency in the National Assembly in the 2013 parliamentary election. He was the chairman of the African Union Parliamentary Group. He was also the chief whip, succeeding Jakoyo Midiwo. He was a member of the Parliamentary House Business Committee (Housekeeping), Committee on Selection (Housekeeping) and the Lands Committee (Departmental). He is also a former mayor of Malindi and represented Malindi Constituency in parliament before it was split.

Calist Andrew Mwatela is a Kenyan politician and educator. He was a member of the East African Legislative Assembly, representing Kenya from 2001 to 2006. He represented Mwatate Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya on an Orange Democratic Movement ticket. He was elected in 2007, but was unable to defend his seat in the 2013 general election.

Gideon Musyoka Ndambuki is a Kenyan politician. He has been the Kaiti Constituency MP since 1997 when the constituency was established, and was a minister between 1998 and 2002. At the 1997 and 2002 elections he won the seat representing the KANU party, but represented the Orange Democratic Movement-Kenya at the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. He unsuccessfully vied for the Makueni County Senate seat during Wiper Democratic Party nominations in the run-up to the 2013 General Elections in Kenya. Educated in the US, he was an employee of the Commercial Bank of Africa in the 1980s, and more controversially, Managing Director of Trade Bank between 1986 and its collapse in 1993.

David Musila is a Kenyan politician. He belongs to the Wiper Democratic Movement and was elected to represent Mwingi South Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya in the Kenyan parliamentary election of 1997. In 2013 he was elected as the first senator representing Kitui County.

He represented the Orange Democratic Movement until 2017 when he switched to the Jubilee Party. Keynan was re-elected on the Jubilee ticket in the 2022 elections. He is the longest-serving MP of the 13th Parliament of Kenya.

Reverend Moses Akaranga is a Kenyan politician who served as the first governor of Vihiga county having been defeated by Dr. Wilberforce Ottichilo in August 2017. He is also former Member of parliament for Sabatia constituency, having defeated Musalia Mudavadi of KANU from the Sabatia Constituency seat in the 2002 elections on a Ford-Kenya ticket. He served only one term and was defeated by Mudavadi, who was now representing Orange Democratic Movement at the 2007 elections.

Ekwee David Ethuro is a Kenyan politician. Currently is the Chairperson Higher Education Loans Board (HELB). He was elected as the first Speaker of the modern Kenyan Senate on 28 March 2013. From 1998 to 2013 he served as a Member of Parliament representing Turkana Central. He also served as the Assistant Minister for Planning and National Development from 1998 to 2002 under the government of President Daniel arap Moi. He was re-elected as Member of Parliament for Turkana Central in the 2007 general elections and steered the proceedings of the 10th Parliament in the position of acting Speaker of the House whenever the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker were absent.

Justin Bedan Njoka Muturi is the current Attorney General of Kenya who served as the seventh Speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya from 2013 to 2022. He is the first speaker to serve following the reestablishment of a bicameral Parliament by the 2010 Constitution. On 28 March 2013, Muturi won the speakership after a second round of voting by members of the National Assembly, beating former speaker Kenneth Marende by a 219–129 margin.

Wardey is a Somali clan who currently associated with the Dir clan family specifically the Madahweyne sub-clan found in southern Somalia and eastern Kenya, mostly along the Tana River. The Wardey are a pastoralist community. Mostly they live in Tana River County alongside Orma communities. They speak the Somali language and practice Islam.
