Natalie Saleeba (born 27 June 1978, in Perth) is an Australian actress of a Lebanese descent.

Saleeba is best known for her roles as Jessica Singleton in the medical drama series All Saints , Rosetta Cammeniti on Neighbours and more recently, Abi on House Husbands .

Early life

Saleeba is a trained actress, beginning her career in the early 2000s touring with the Bell Shakespeare Company as well as guest appearances on Always Greener , Stingers , and The Secret Life of Us . Saleeba's first lead role was as Debs in the British Foxtel co-production Lovebytes . Other early credits include Corridors of Power, Head Start and the feature film Under the Lighthouse Dancing.

Roles

Saleeba played the regular role of Nurse Jessica Singelton on All Saints from 2004 to 2006 before moving on to Neighbours , playing Rosetta Cammeniti, the sister of Carmella. She made her on-screen debut on 12 October 2006 and remained with the series for 18 months.

From 2012 to 2017, Saleeba starred as Abi on the Logie winning comedy drama series, House Husbands . [1]

Carmella was created as a replacement for Nina Tucker, portrayed by Delta Goodrem, who was written out of the series when Goodrem became ill. Samantha's main storylines focused on her marriage to Daniel Fitzgerald, her bipolar disorder, which was triggered by a miscarriage prior to her introduction, and a pregnancy. In July 2008, McNaught took the decision to cut her contract short and Sienna departed on 3 October 2008. During her time on Neighbours, McNaught's casting and acting were negatively received by critics, acting agencies and viewers.

<i>House Husbands</i> Television series

House Husbands is an Australian television comedy drama. The show debuted on the Nine Network on 2 September 2012. Set in Melbourne, House Husbands stars Firass Dirani, Gyton Grantley, Rhys Muldoon and Gary Sweet as four fathers who stay at home to raise their children. The program also focuses on their interconnected families and friends. In 2013, House Husbands won Most Popular Drama Series at the 2013 Logie Awards. In February 2018, Nine confirmed the series would not be returning for a sixth season and was officially cancelled.
