Natasha Mitchell is an Australian science journalist. [1] She currently presents the Radio National programs Life Matters , a program that was first broadcast in 1992 and initially presented by Australian journalist Geraldine Doogue, [2] and Big Ideas , which presents lectures or panels on ideas or issues and was initially presented by Australian journalist Paul Barclay. [3]

Mitchell is currently the vice-president of the World Federation of Science Journalists, a position she has held since 2011. [4] She was elected to the Federation's executive board in 2009. [5]

Mitchell was a Knight Science Journalism Fellow in 2005/2006. [6]

Life Matters is a radio program that has been broadcast on Radio National by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation since 1992. The first presenter was Geraldine Doogue, and as of 2021 Hilary Harper and Michael MacKenzie present the program.

Richard Aedy is an Australian journalist. He currently presents the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's ABC Local Radio program Sunday Profile.
