Nathan Meyer is a Paralympian athlete from South Africa competing mainly in category T13 sprint events.
Nathan first competed at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in the F13 long jump and won both the 100m and 200m T13 gold medals. In 2004 he attempted to defend his gold medals but finished with just a silver in the T13 200m. [1]
Jason Smyth is an Irish retired sprint runner. He competes in the T13 disability sport classification as he is legally blind, with his central vision being affected by Stargardt's disease; he also competes in elite non-Paralympic competition. As of July 2014, Smyth holds T13 World records in the 100m and 200m events.
Olga Semenova is a Paralympian athlete from Russia competing mainly in category P13 sprint events. She formerly competed in P11 pentathlon events.
Botswana made its Paralympic Games début at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, sending a single representative to compete in athletics. Morama entered only the women's 400m T46 sprint, and won gold, setting a world record time of 55.99. No further athletes from Botswana have competed at the Summer Games, and Botswana has never taken part in the Winter Paralympics - leaving the country with a 100% gold medal success rate so far.
Panama made its Paralympic Games début at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona, with a delegation of two competitors in athletics. It has participated in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics, but never in the Winter Paralympics. Panamanian delegations have always been small, never consisting in more than two competitors.
Anthi Karagianni is a Paralympian athlete from Greece competing mainly in category F13 long jump and in sprint events. She competed in the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, Greece where she won silver medals in the T13 100m, T13 400m and F13 long jump. Karagianni also competed in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China. There she won a silver medal in the women's F13 long jump event and competed in the T13 100m and 200m events. In the 2012 Summer Paralympics she took the third place in F13 long jump, winning her fifth medal in the Paralympic Games. The Municipal Stadium "Anthi Karagianni" in her hometown of Kavala, Greece, was renamed in her honour in 2004.

The 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships was the biggest track and field competition for athletes with a disability since the 2012 Summer Paralympics. It was held in Lyon, France, and lasted from 20 to 28 July. Around 1,100 athletes competed, from 94 different countries. The event was held in the Stade du Rhône located at the Parc de Parilly in Vénissieux, in Lyon Metropolis.
Chad Perris is a vision impaired Australian athlete, born with albinism. He specialises in the 100m and 200m events. He has won two silver and two bronze medals at the World Para Athletics Championships and a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Paralympics. He competed at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics and selected for the 2024 Paris Paralympics - his third Games. .
Alexander Zverev is a Paralympian athlete from Russia competing mainly in category T13 sprint events. Zverev has competed at two Summer Paralympic Games, 2008 in Beijing and 2012 at London. At the 2012 Games he won silver in the 400m sprint.

Christine Akullo is a Ugandan Paralympic athlete competing in the T13 Category. Akullo won Gold for Uganda in the T13 100m at the 2011 All Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique as well as the 2015 All Africa Games. She was also Uganda's flag bearer at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London.
