The National Advance Party was a political party in Papua New Guinea.

A political party is an organized group of people, often with common views, who come together to contest elections and hold power in the government. The party agrees on some proposed policies and programmes, with a view to promoting the collective good or furthering their supporters' interests.

The party won one seat at the 2007 general election, with the return of John Pundari, who had been defeated for the Papua New Guinea Revival Party in 2002. [1]

John Pundari is a Papua New Guinean politician. He has been Speaker of the National Parliament (1997–1999), Deputy Prime Minister (1999) and Minister for Foreign Affairs (2001).

The Papua New Guinea Revival Party was a political party in Papua New Guinea from 2002 to 2003.

The party was deregistered in 2008 after merging with the People's Party in April of that year, with Pundari continuing as a member of that party. [2] [3]
