Hans Folke "Hasse" Alfredson was a Swedish actor, film director, writer, and comedian. He was born in Malmö, Sweden. He is known for his collaboration with Tage Danielsson as the duo Hasse & Tage and their production company AB Svenska Ord. His most celebrated contribution to their brand of humorist humanism was his ability to extemporize wildly absurd comic situations, for example in the Lindeman dialogues.

Tre kronor was a Swedish soap opera that aired on TV4 during the period 1994–1999. The series took place in the fictional middle class suburb Mälarviken, located in the vicinity of Stockholm. The exteriors were filmed in Sätra, a suburb of Stockholm, and the interiors were filmed in a studio in Kvarnholmen as well as in Kungens Kurva. TV4 started Tre kronor in 1994 to compete for the viewers of SVT series Rederiet. Both shows aired in the same time slot and both had around 1-2 million viewers. The signature tune was written by Lasse Holm.

Singoalla is a 1949 Swedish–French film directed by Christian-Jaque, starring Viveca Lindfors and Alf Kjellin. It is based on the romantic novel The Wind Is My Lover by Viktor Rydberg, which in turn is based on a medieval legend of the love between a gypsy and a nobleman. It was produced in three language versions: Swedish, French, and English. The Swedish and French versions were entitled Singoalla. The English version had three titles: Gypsy Fury (USA), The Wind is My Lover (UK), and The Mask and the Sword (UK). The Swedish and English versions starred Alf Kjellin as the nobleman, but the French version starred Michel Auclair. All three versions were edited separately – even scoring is slightly different. The Swedish and French run over 100 minutes, the English only 63 minutes.
The Swedish Film Database is an Internet database about Swedish films, published by the Swedish Film Institute. It contains information about all Swedish films from 1897 onwards and foreign films that had cinema premiere in Sweden. It also provides many biographies of actors, directors, producers etc. who participated in Swedish films over the years. It is created with the support of the Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation. The database comprises about 62,000 films and 265,000 people.
Jerusalem is a film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 6 September 1996, directed by Bille August, based on the two-part novel Jerusalem by Selma Lagerlöf. The film, also broadcast as a TV-series, was a Scandinavian co-production headed by Svensk Filmindustri. The film was selected as the Swedish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 69th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.
Vi hade i alla fall tur med vädret is a Swedish TV comedy film directed by Kjell Sundvall. It originally aired over SVT on 27 February 1980. In 2008 it was followed by the film Vi hade i alla fall tur med vädret – igen.
Håkan Bråkan & Josef is a Swedish comedy film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 8 October 2004, directed by Erik Leijonborg and based on Anders Jacobsson and Sören Olsson's stories about Håkan, a Sune spinoff character.
