The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) is the aerial warfare branch of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. The air force is primarily responsible for air defence of Bangladesh's sovereign territory as well as providing air support to the Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy. Furthermore, the BAF has a territorial role in providing tactical and strategic air transport and logistics capability for the country.
Comilla District, officially known as Cumilla District, is a district located in southeastern Bangladesh. It lies about 100 kilometres south east of Dhaka. Comilla is bordered by Brahmanbaria and Narayanganj districts to the north, Noakhali and Feni districts to the south, Tripura state of India to the east and Munshiganj and Chandpur districts to the west.
The Bangladesh Army is the land warfare branch and the largest component of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. The primary mission of the Army is to defend the land of Bangladesh from any external attack. Control of personnel and operations is administered by the Army Headquarters, Dhaka Cantonment. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) (Bengali: প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কার্যালয়, romanized: Prôdhānmôntrīr Kārjālôẏ) is the official workplace of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and is headed by the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
Forces Goal 2030 is a military modernization program which began in 2009 and was revised in 2017. It was designed to enhance the capabilities of three service branches of Bangladesh Armed Forces: the Army, the Navy and the Air Force. The primary focus of the modernization program is the reformation of the military organization, expansion of the forces, the transformation of the indigenous defense sector to support research and manufacturing, and acquisition of modern military weapons. The requirement for modernization was realized in the aftermath of 2008 Bangladesh–Myanmar naval standoff later resulting in Bangladesh's favour. One of the primary objectives of the modernization program is to develop a three-dimensional force capable of conducting multi-platform warfare.
M Sakhawat Hossain is a Bangladeshi author and speaker. He was the election commissioner of Bangladesh from 2007 to 2012 and retired from the Bangladesh Army as a brigadier general. He wrote more than 32 books, and serves as a columnist and freelance commentator on national and international television as a security and defense analyst. He has been serving as an adviser to the interim government of Bangladesh since August 2024.
The Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority or BEZA is an agency of the government of Bangladesh tasked with developing special economic zones.
S. M. Matiur Rahman OSP (BAR), SUP, afwc, psc, is a retired three-star-rank Bangladesh Army officer, a lieutenant general. He was general officer commanding, Army Training and Doctrine Command, Mymensingh Cantonment. Prior to join ARTDOC, he was GOC of 24 Infantry Division and area commander of Chattogram area. Earlier, he was adjutant general of the Bangladesh Army. He was also the vice chairman of Trust Bank's board of directors. He served as General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 55 Infantry Division & Area Commander of Jessore Area. He also served as the director of Counter-Terrorism Intelligence Bureau (CTIB) of Directorate General of Forces Intelligence. He served as commander of 46th Independent Infantry Brigade. He also served as additional director general (operations) of the Rapid Action Battalion.
Mohammad Maksudur Rahman is a retired major general in the Bangladesh Army. Before retirement he was Director General of Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies.

Shaikh Yusuf Harun is a retired Bangladeshi government official who is currently serving as the Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority. He is the former Senior Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration. Earlier, he served as Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka District.

He was the vice-president of Kurmitola Golf Club. He was the senior vice-president of Bangladesh Golf Federation.
Md Tofazzel Hossain Miah is a Bangladeshi retired civil servant who served as principal secretary of the prime minister. He also served as PS-1 to Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina and senior secretary, Prime Minister's Office, Bangladesh. On 7 August 2024, his appointment has been cancelled.
