The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Crew Club (UNLCC) is the intercollegiaterowing club at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The rowing team is also known as "Nebraska Crew" in the Mid-West. The men's team was founded in 1969 and the women's team in 1972. The club's colors are scarlet and cream, with scarlet blades. With the slogan "Row Big Red!", the Cornhusker men and women gladly row for Nebraska.
Rowing is the oldest intercollegiate sport in the United States. In the 2002–03 school year there were 1,712 male and 6,690 female collegiate rowers, representing just over 2% of total college athletes. Some growth in the sport is evidenced by the fact that in the 2017–18 school year there were 2,244 male and 7,277 female collegiate rowers; noting also that while women's rowing has been classified as a Championship sport since the 1996-97 season, the men's rowing is not.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. The university is a member of the Big Ten Conference and the Cornhuskers compete in NCAA Division I, fielding 22 varsity teams in 15 sports. Nineteen of these teams participate the Big Ten, while rifle is a member of the single-sport Great America Rifle Conference and beach volleyball and bowling compete as independents.
UNLCC has a boathouse on campus at 16th and "Y" Streets in Lincoln. What was formerly an autobody repair shop, and then an empty building on campus, became the boathouse when the crew took over in the late 1970s. Practices are held at both the boathouse and the lake, with many indoor rowing machines and one of the few indoor rowing tanks in the midwestern United States.

The club has the use of Branched Oak Lake, which is 25 miles (40km) northwest of Lincoln. The 1,800-acre (7km2) lake allows for 2,500 meters of rowing from the dam to the dock, and 1,500 meters from the dam to the end of the cove. The Lincoln West Optimist Club allows the club to store their boats, dock, and trailer on site year-round.
Branched Oak State Recreation Area (SRA) is a Nebraska state recreation area located 2.5 miles north of Malcolm, Nebraska in Lancaster County. The lake is the largest of the Salt Valley Lakes with 1,800 acres (7 km2) of water in a 5,595-acre (23 km2) park.

The Davis Men's Crew Club is a collegiate sports club representing the University of California, Davis in rowing. As a non-funded team, it is a member of the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA), whose participants are mostly of non-Pac-10 schools on the West Coast. Illini Rowing is a club college rowing program that represents the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. Both the men's and women's teams that make up the program are members of the American Collegiate Rowing Association (ACRA) in the Great Lakes Region. The program operates as a registered student organization (RSO) at the University of Illinois. The university does not currently have a NCAA varsity team and the club program is the highest level of competitive rowing offered by the University. As of 2014, the program has attained two ACRA national titles for their wins in the Women's Novice Four event in both 2012 and 2014 at the ACRA National Championships. The Illini Rowing Men's crew has captured the team's only state champion titles, winning in both 2013 and 2014. The Women's team has fallen short each year, losing to the University of Chicago both years.

The University of Oregon Rowing Team is located in Eugene, Oregon and practices at Dexter Reservoir nearby. Purdue Crew is a student athletic club established at Purdue University in 1949. It is the largest such club on campus with an average of 130 members throughout the season. The program competes nationwide against both club and D1 programs in cities such as San Diego, CA, Gainesville, GA, and Philadelphia, PA. As a club the Crew is generously supported by Purdue University's Department of Recreational Sports by employing the head and assistant coach positions. Incredibly strong alumni support has allowed for much of the growth and success of the program by financing equipment and facilities.

It is located at the Port of Redwood City along Redwood creek in Redwood City, California.
