Horning is an ancient village and parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 11 km2 and had a population of 1,033 in the 2001 census. Horning parish lies on the northern bank of the River Bure south of the River Thurne and is located in The Broads National Park. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of North Norfolk, although areas alongside the rivers and broads fall into the executive area of the Broads Authority.

Fur is a Danish island in the Limfjord. It is located just north of Salling peninsula within Skive municipality. As of 2022, the island covers an area of 21.8 km2 and has a total population of 752. The village of Nederby is the largest town on the island.
Ranum is a town in the former municipality of Løgstør and Vesthimmerland Municipality in Denmark. It is the fifth largest town in Vesthimmerland Municipality and is situated approximately 3 km from the inlet Limfjorden and 1 hour from the two major cities Aalborg and Viborg. Ranum has a population of 970.
Venø is a small Danish island located in Limfjorden in the north of Jutland, 3 kilometres north of Struer. It is 7.5 kilometres long and has a maximum width of 1.5 kilometres. With an area of 6.5 square kilometres, it has a population of 204 as of 1 January 2015. Since 1958, there has been a ferry service from Venø Odde, the island's most southerly point, over the narrow sound to Kleppen. Venø's highest point, Forstov Bakke, is 27 metres above sea level and has cliffs to the west. The island is a popular holiday destination with good beaches and camping facilities. The only village, Venø By, in the centre of the island has Denmark's smallest church as well as a small fishing harbour which is suitable for pleasure boats.
Agerø is a small Danish island in Limfjorden located in the waters between the larger island of Mors, to which it is connected by a dam and a bridge, and the Thyholm Peninsula. With an area of 3.8 km2, it has a population of 38 as of 1 January 2010. Most of the island is cultivated but in the north there is a 25 hectare nature reserve of coastal meadows which are an important rest stop for migratory birds.
Klemensker is a village in the north-western part of the Danish island of Bornholm. With a population of 607, it is located on a crossroads 13 km north-east of Rønne, 7 km east of the coastal town Hasle and 12 km south of Allinge. It is known for its cheese production.
Guldborg is a fishing village spanning the islands of Falster and Lolland in Denmark. It belongs to Guldborgsund Municipality, in Region Zealand. In 2023 the village had a population of 530, with about 500 living on the Lolland side. The village is located at the narrowest point between the two islands where Guldborg Bridge crosses Guldborgsund Sound.
The Fur Museum is a nationally recognized local natural history museum in Denmark. The museum is named after the Danish island Fur on which it is located. When the museum was founded in 1954, the focus was on the local history of the island. In 1957, the leader of Fur Museum found the fossil of a big leatherback turtle, and the focus of the museum shifted towards geology and natural history.
