Nederby is a village on the island of Fur in the Limfjord north of Salling in Denmark. It had a population of 531 (1 January 2024). [1]

Fur Church [2] and Fur Museum are located in the village.

Fur Færgekro (Fur Ferry Inn) is an inn located in the ferry port of Stenøre, in the southern part of Nederby. [3]

Venø is a small Danish island located in Limfjorden in the north of Jutland, 3 kilometres north of Struer. It is 7.5 kilometres long and has a maximum width of 1.5 kilometres. With an area of 6.5 square kilometres, it has a population of 204 as of 1 January 2015. Since 1958, there has been a ferry service from Venø Odde, the island's most southerly point, over the narrow sound to Kleppen. Venø's highest point, Forstov Bakke, is 27 metres above sea level and has cliffs to the west. The island is a popular holiday destination with good beaches and camping facilities. The only village, Venø By, in the centre of the island has Denmark's smallest church as well as a small fishing harbour which is suitable for pleasure boats.

Agerø is a small Danish island in Limfjorden located in the waters between the larger island of Mors, to which it is connected by a dam and a bridge, and the Thyholm Peninsula. With an area of 3.8 km2, it has a population of 38 as of 1 January 2010. Most of the island is cultivated but in the north there is a 25 hectare nature reserve of coastal meadows which are an important rest stop for migratory birds.

The Fur Museum is a nationally recognized local natural history museum in Denmark. The museum is named after the Danish island Fur on which it is located. When the museum was founded in 1954, the focus was on the local history of the island. In 1957, the leader of Fur Museum found the fossil of a big leatherback turtle, and the focus of the museum shifted towards geology and natural history.
