Nedu Wazobia (born 5 August 1982), born Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, is a Nigerian radio personality, broadcast journalist, TV presenter, actor, comedian, and content creator. He delivers the daily news on Wazobia FM 94.1 in Lagos in Pidgin English.

Early life and career

Nedu Wazobia was born in Kaduna, Nigeria. He studied accounting at Madonna University in Elele Okija, Anambra State. He then participated in the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, where he worked as an on-air personality at a radio station in Jigawa. He later returned to Abuja to work as a site manager. After two years in that role, he moved to Lagos becoming a broadcaster, and an entertainer.

He plays various characters such as Sister Nkechi, Alhaji Musa, EndTime Landlord, and Officer Jato [1] on social media comedy skits. He is also one of the hosts of the podcast Honest Bunch , where he engages discussions on a variety of topics with other hosts. As of January 11, 2025, his Instagram account boasts over 3.6 million followers, reflecting his influence as a content creator and entertainer.

Personal life

Nedu married Uzoamaka Ohiri in 2013, but their marriage ended in 2018. The couple had three children together.
