Kirtipur is an ancient city of Nepal. It is located in the Kathmandu Valley 5 km south-west of the city of Kathmandu. It is one of the five municipalities in the valley, the others being Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Madhyapur Thimi. It is one of the most famous and religious places to visit. Many people visit this place not only for its natural environment but also to visit temples. The city was listed as a UNESCO tentative site in 2008.

The Armed Police Force, Nepal is a paramilitary land force tasked with counter-insurgency operations in Nepal. It functions as a semi-military wing, and occupies a sort of dual role as both military and law enforcement. Service is voluntary and the minimum age for enlistment is 18 years. Initially founded with a roster of 15,000 police and military personnel, the Armed Police Force is projected to have a corps of 77,117 at the close of 2015.

The National Cricket Academy, NCA, was formally opened in January 2013 by the Cricket Association of Nepal to guide emerging players and to provide continuous training facilities to the men's national team, women's national team and the under-19 team. As of December 2012, there were 429 senior cricket clubs and 227 junior cricket clubs in Nepal.
Nepal A.P.F. Club, commonly known as APF Club, is a sports club based in Kathmandu, Bagmati Province, Nepal. The club is the sports-wing of the Armed Police Force.

The Battle of Kirtipur occurred in 1767 during the Gorkha conquest of Nepal, and was fought at Kirtipur, one of the principal towns in the Kathmandu Valley. Kirtipur was then a walled town of 800 houses and part of the kingdom of Lalitpur. It is spread along the top of a ridge.

He was a son of Kaji Bhimraj Pande who was minister during reign of King Prithivipati Shah of Gorkha. He was descendant of Minister of Gorkha and Dravya Shah's accomplice Ganesh Pande. He had three sons: Dewan Kajisaheb Vamsharaj Pande, Sardar Ranasur Pande and Mulkaji Sahib Damodar Pande.

The India–Nepal border is an open international border running between India and Nepal. The 1,770 km (1,099.83 mi) long border includes the Himalayan territories as well as Indo-Gangetic Plain. The current border was delimited after the Sugauli treaty of 1816 between Nepal and the British Raj. Following Indian independence, the current border was recognised as the border between Nepal and the Republic of India.
Juddha Barun Yantra or popularly known as Damkal (Nepali:दमकल) is the oldest fire brigade of Kathmandu, Nepal. Initially, it served for all districts inside the Kathmandu valley - namely Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan and were operated under the Home Ministry with a central office at Newroad, Basantapur. However, with increasing demand, currently, the offices are run separately in each districts. Currently, it operates various fire engines. The refill is done at the nearest water sources or the reservoirs at Mahankal and Jorpati. It has 39 staffs — 11 from the Armed Police Force (APF), 10 from Metropolitan Police and 18 mobilised from the Home Ministry. The fire brigade can be called by dialing 101 from anywhere in Nepal.
Prime Minister Cup Women's National Tournament is a twenty20 cricket tournament in Nepal organised by the Cricket Association of Nepal. There are currently eight teams participating in the tournament. The inaugural edition was contested among 10 teams and six teams contested the tournament from 2016 to 2018.
The 2021 National Women's League, also known as Deputy Mayor National Women's League is the 2021 edition of the first-tier women's club football competition in Nepal organized by the All Nepal Football Association. The season started on 21 January. It is the first season since 2017/18, as the 2020 season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal. APF Club was crowned champions on 17 February 2021.
Aasif Sheikh is a Nepalese cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and an occasional wicket-keeper. He made his debut for Nepal against Netherlands in April 2021.
