New Patna Club is a social club in Patna and is one of the oldest clubs of Bihar. It was founded in 1918 during the British Raj. The club is located on Beerchand Patel Path. [1]
The club was founded in 1918 by Justice F.R. Roe. He was assisted in its founding by Sir Ali Imam, Justice P.R. Das and Mr. Saiyid Sultan Ahmed. The Bihar and Orissa District Gazetteers Patna of 1924 reports that the club had a good building and had a member strength of eighty, both European and Indian. [2] The club was established in the new capital of Patna at that time. Bankipore Club already existed in older part of Patna in Bankipore locality.
The club currently has two towers on its premises with several facilities for its members.
The club facilities include 4 tennis courts, a swimming pool and various rooms for indoor games such as carrom, billiards and cards among others. [3] The club also provides its grounds for marriages and various events. [4]
The club currently has 800 permanent members, including 100 life members. About 750 people have taken service membership.
The club also has guest rooms, jym, swimming pool, conference hall for about 250 people and 14 rooms for affiliated club members. There is parking facility for about 215 cars on club's premises. [5]

Kiul Junction railway station, is one of the major railway junctions in Danapur division of East Central Railway. Kiul is connected to metropolitan areas of India, by the Howrah–Delhi main line via Mugalsarai–Patna route which runs along the historic Grand Trunk Road. The Danapur railway division's main line crosses Sahibganj loop line at the Kiul Junction. The main line crosses the Kiul River between Kiul Junction and Lakhisarai Junction. The Gaya–Kiul line also starts from the Kiul Junction.

East Central Railway was inaugurated on 8 September 1996 with headquarters at Hajipur, Bihar. It became operational on 1st October 2002.

The General Post Office, Patna is a British Raj building located in Patna, Bihar, India. It is the central post office of the city of Patna and the headquarters of India Post's Bihar Circle. It is located on the intersection of Buddh Marg and New Market Station Road. The post office handles most of the city's inbound and outbound mails and parcels. As of 2017, GPO Patna delivers 1 lakh letters and parcels daily through 96 postmen. It also has more than 12 lakh savings accounts.
