Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo is an American R&B singer. Aiko embarked on her music career contributing vocals and appearing in music videos for R&B group B2K. In an effort to promote and cultivate a following for her, she was marketed as B2K member Lil' Fizz's cousin; she is not actually related to him. In 2003, Aiko was set to release her debut album, My Name Is Jhené, through her labels Sony, The Ultimate Group and Epic; however, the album was never released, and Aiko asked to be released from the label in order to continue her education.

The lead single and JONES' debut single "Indulge" was released on the day of the EPs release and was re-released officially on 17 October 2015. The song, along with the extended play, was the main project that sparked JONES' major breakthrough into the music industry. It even caught the attention of big music stars, such as Sam Smith, when he commented on the EP as being "f**king beautiful".

All Saints are an English girl group formed in London in 1993. They were founded as All Saints 1.9.7.5 by music manager Ron Tom. with members Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, and Simone Rainford. The group struggled to find commercial success upon being signed to ZTT Records and were dropped by the label shortly after Rainford left the group. In 1996, the group were joined by Canadian-born sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton and signed to London Records under their shortened name.
