Newmancollege (or Newman College) is a comprehensive Roman Catholic secondary school in Breda, the Netherlands. It was established in 1959 as an HBS (Hogereburgerschool), and was merged with Gymnasium Ypelaar in 1973 and Mavo Hoge Vugt in 1991.
In 2005 it had around 1200 students in grades 1–6.
The school is named after the English theologian and convert to Catholicism Cardinal Newman (1801-1890).

Paul Leonard Newman was an American actor, film director, racing car driver, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. He was the recipient of numerous awards, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, three Golden Globe Awards, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, a Silver Bear, a Cannes Film Festival Award, and the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.
John Henry Newman was an English Catholic theologian, academic, philosopher, historian, writer, and poet. He was previously an Anglican priest and after his conversion became a cardinal. He was an important and controversial figure in the religious history of England in the 19th century and was known nationally by the mid-1830s. He was canonised as a Catholic saint in 2019. He was a member of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri.
