Ngonidzashe Kambarami (born 19 October 1983), popularly known as Ngonie, is a Zimbabwean musician who has produced three albums to date: Ndinoimba , Angu Mashoko , and idenderedzwa. His debut song "Ndiwe Chete" launched his music career in 2002, leading to the release of his first album.
Ngonie was born Ngonidzashe Kambarami on 19 October 1983 in Mabvuku Harare. [1] [2] He is the last of four boys and was educated at Donnybrook Primary School and Mabvuku High School in Mabvuku and also at Foundation College in Old Tafara, Harare, Zimbabwe.
This album was produced by the duo of Tatenda "Take 5" Jenami and Sipho "TBA" Mkhuhlane of that Squad.

This album was produced by Joseph "Joey" Madziyire, Sipho "Playboy" Mkuhlane, Lyton Ngolomi, Clive "Mono" Mukundu and McDonald "McDee" Chidavaenzi for Ngonie's private label Highway Entertainment. The album is distributed by Metro Studios under a Third Party Distribution Licence and was released into stores on 20 December 2007.
Ngonie received an award for Best Urban Grooves Male from the Zimbabwe Music Awards (ZIMA) 2004. His a cappella performance of "Donna" at the Spotlight 2002 show with Another Trybe also received the award for best performance in its category. [3]
He has appeared on Spotlight and Superstar as a contestant, and has had guest appearances on the popular Zimbabwean show Studio 263 shown on ZBC (Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation) and Obe tv (Sky channel 223). His songs "Angela" and "Shamwari" have also been used as background music for a number of episodes of this show.
Air Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd is the national carrier of Zimbabwe, headquartered on the property of Harare International Airport, in Harare. From its hub at Harare International Airport, the carrier used to operate a network within southern Africa that also included Asia and London-Gatwick. Following financial difficulties, Air Zimbabwe ceased operations in late February 2012. Serving a reduced domestic network, the carrier resumed operations for a short period between May and early July 2012, when flights were again discontinued. Some flights were restarted on a discontinuous basis in November that year. The airline resumed operating some domestic routes as well as the regional service to Johannesburg on a daily basis in April 2013.
Jonathan Nathaniel Mlevu Moyo is a Zimbabwean politician who served in the government of Zimbabwe as Minister of Higher Education from 2015 to 2017. He was previously Minister of Information and Publicity from 2000 to 2005 and again from 2013 to 2015. Ndinoimba is Ngonie's first studio album. Released in 2002, it was recorded at ThatSquad Studios by Tatenda "Take 5" Jenami and Sipho "TBA" Mkuhlane (who now calls himself "PlayBoy". The album has 10 "original" tracks, 1 remix track and a 1'13" interlude.
Angu Mashoko is Ngonie's second studio album. Released and launched on 20 October at Cheers Night Club in Mabvuku, it is a 13-track album with 12 original tracks and one radio mix. Ngonie funded the whole production of this album on his own and released it on his own label 4RoomsOfLove, Highway Entertainment.
Tongai Moyo was a contemporary Zimbabwean musician, often referred to as Dhewa. Born and raised in Kwekwe, Dhewa rose to fame in the late 1990s as a solo artist and with the band Utakataka Express. Highly successful singles including "Samanyemba", "Naye", and "Muchina Muhombe" led to his national, regional and international fame; he produced 14 albums in a career of over twenty years.
Alick Macheso, is a Zimbabwean musician. He came onto the music scene as a solo artist in 1998, with his debut album Magariro, which carried "Pakutema Munda ", probably the least noticeable from that album. The first cut never received any recognition but he continued to release Vakiridzo the following year. Similarly, the response was lukewarm and in the coming 12 months, he went back into the studio and came out with Simbaradzo.
Leonard Mapfumo is an urban grooves/hip-hop artist from Harare, Zimbabwe. Active on the national hip-hop scene since 2000, he has gained recognition as one of the fathers of Zimbabwean urban sounds, with four number one hits on the national charts.
Charles Charamba is a Zimbabwean gospel musician and a former pastor in the Apostolic Faith Mission Church of Zimbabwe (AFM). He has since started his church. Charamba's albums have been the top selling gospel music in Zimbabwe since the early 2000s. He has toured both Great Britain and the United States, and throughout southern Africa. On the 19th of June 2020, he was arrested and charged with three counts of criminal abuse of duty as a public officer, for his alleged participation in a scam that involved tens of millions of dollars. After spending the night in police cells, he posted $50 000.00 bail. On the 7th of July 2020, the President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa dismissed Moyo from the office of Cabinet Minister, removing him for "conduct inappropriate for a Government Minister".
