Corporate titles or business titles are given to company and organization officials to show what duties and responsibilities they have in the organization. Such titles are used by publicly and privately held for-profit corporations. In addition, many non-profit organizations, educational institutions, partnerships, and sole proprietorships also confer corporate titles.
A chief operating officer (COO), also called a chief operations officer, is one of the highest-ranking executive positions in an organization, composing part of the "C-suite". The COO is usually the second-in-command at the firm, especially if the highest-ranking executive is the chairperson and CEO. The COO is responsible for the daily operation of the company and its office building and routinely reports to the highest-ranking executive—usually the chief executive officer (CEO).

The Student Loans Company (SLC) is a non-departmental public body company in the United Kingdom that provides student loans. It is responsible for both providing loans to students, and collecting loan repayments alongside HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). Tidjane Thiam is an Ivorian banker who was the chief executive officer (CEO) of Swiss bank Credit Suisse from March 2015 to February 2020. He was the chief financial officer of British banking group Prudential from 2007 to 2009, and then its CEO until 2015. In 2019, Thiam became a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The IOC decision came after the 10 nominated people, including Thiam, passed integrity checks.
Peter Robert Voser is a businessman, who is currently the Chairman and interim Chief Executive Officer of the Swedish-Swiss company ABB. He served as the CEO of the Anglo-Dutch company Royal Dutch Shell from July 2009 to December 2013. He started his career at Royal Dutch Shell in 1982, working in a number of finance and business roles in different countries. Between 2002 and 2005 he served as chief financial officer for ABB and the Royal Dutch Shell. In 2004, he was appointed Shell's chief financial officer (CFO) and then CEO in July 2009.
Randall Lynn Stephenson is a retired American telecommunications executive. He served as chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of AT&T Inc. from May 9, 2007 – June 30, 2020 and as executive chairman of AT&T Inc. from July 1 until December 31, 2020. He served as National President of the Boy Scouts of America from 2016 to 2018. In April 2020, Stephenson announced he would step down as CEO of AT&T effective July 1, 2020, replaced by John Stankey. In November 2020, Stephenson announced he would step down as executive Chairman of AT&T effective January 2021, replaced by William Kennard.

Wonga.com, also known as Wonga, is a former British payday loan firm that was founded in 2006. The company focused on offering short-term, high-cost loans to customers via online applications, and began processing its first loans in 2007. The firm operated across several countries, including the United Kingdom, Spain, Poland and South Africa; it also operated in Canada until 2016, and in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands through the German payments business, BillPay, between 2013 to 2017.
Errol Damelin is a South African entrepreneur and early-stage technology investor. In 2007 he co-founded Wonga, an internet payday loan company that gained notoriety for charging extremely high interest on short-term loans. After Damelin stepped down as CEO of the company in 2013, the company went into administration on 30 August 2018.

The company declare an APR of 1116% but also claim that the APR measurement is irrelevant for non-compound loans. Currently, the firm operates in the UK market only. The company claims to be technology oriented, and develops its own decision making algorithms.
Think Finance was a company that provides technology, analytics, and marketing services to financial businesses in the consumer lending industry.
Daniel Lalonde is a Canadian businessperson known for heading brands such as Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, Nespresso and Moët & Chandon. After starting his management career with companies such as Häagen-Dazs and Nespresso, he spent ten years at LVMH as president and CEO of LVMH Watches & Jewelry North America, Louis Vuitton in North America, and Moët & Chandon globally. After two years as international president of Ralph Lauren, since 2014 he has served as CEO of the French fashion company SMCP.
