Nicholas Brian Barrett (born July 28, 2003) is an American college football defensive tackle. He played college football for the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Barrett attended Eastern Wayne High School in Goldsboro, North Carolina. As a junior in 2019, he had 66 tackles and 15 sacks. [1] [2] He did not play his senior year because of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Barrett committed to the University of South Carolina to play college football. [3] [4]
Barrett spent his first four seasons at South Carolina from 2021 to 2024 as a backup, recording 30 tackles and one interception. He redshirted the 2024 season after appearing in only four games. [5] He started all 12 games his senior year in 2025 and had 42 tackles and two sacks.
