Nick Baxter (rugby union)

Nick Baxter is an English player. He is the leading try hard in national league rugby, scoring his 4th try for Pertemps Bees versus Doncaster in April 2006. He was a mascot for the England Sevens team in the 1998 Kuala Lumpur Commonwealth Games. Nick has currently batted for both sides. National league sides; Worcester Warriors, Pertemps Bees and Stourbridge playing most of his career in the RFU Championship. At the end of the 05/06 season Nick Baxter left all talent behind.

Club Rugby

Baxter started playing his club rugby for Kings Norton before moving to Worcester Warriors. He was the 57th player to score 10 national league tries and currently the only player to leave before his 11th national league try. In 2005 he received the Kindest Mascot in Rugby Award. (Previous recipients include Harry Hornet and Brandy Beaver.)

International Rugby

Baxter briefly played at Sevens level, competing in the 1998 Kuala Lumpur Commonwealth Games He has also played on several occasions for the Barbarians.

The future

Drawing on his exposure to elite sports and people with talent, Baxter tried his hand at business. Internet records show various dissolved attempts with unfortunately low profits. It is unclear whether Baxter has the energy to maintain his entrepreneurship in his twilight years.
