Nick Beardsley (born 23 September 1969) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Fitzroy in the Australian Football League (AFL) in 1990. [1] He was recruited from the East Camberwell Football Club to Hawthorn in 1986, but did not play a senior game for them. He was then drafted by Fitzroy with the 43rd selection in the 1990 Preseason Draft.
Martin Pike is a former professional Australian rules footballer, who played in four Australian Football League (AFL) premiership sides. A tough, versatile wingman, Pike has been described as a "natural player" of the game. Highlights of his career included a premiership with the North Melbourne Football Club, three more with Brisbane, the final AFL best-and-fairest winner with Fitzroy in 1996, and selection in the 1998 South Australian State-Of-Origin side.
Gary Pert is a former Australian rules footballer who represented Fitzroy and Collingwood in the Australian Football League (AFL). Tall, well-built and strong in the air, Pert played over 200 league games, despite suffering two serious knee injuries in the prime years of his career. Early in one season, Pert suffered a bizarre injury when he went to his girlfriend's house for dinner and got a biscuit stuck in his oesophagus. The blockage remained overnight and so the following day he underwent an oesophagoscopy under general anaesthetic. He recovered in time for the Round 5 game against Richmond. He returned in 1989, winning Fitzroy's best and fairest.

He was recruited from the Gippsland Power in the TAC Cup with the 6th selection in the 1994 AFL Draft. When Fitzroy's AFL operations were taken over by the Brisbane Bears at the end of the 1996 AFL season, McMahon was not one of the eight players selected by Brisbane and he instead entered the 1996 AFL Draft, where he was selected by Hawthorn with the 51st selection. Despite playing well for the Hawthorn reserves side, he was never selected to play another AFL game.
