Nicholas Simon Taylor (2 June 1963) is an English former first-class cricketer. Born at Holmfirth,the son of the Yorkshire County Cricket Club stalwart Ken Taylor,he made his debut as a right arm fast medium bowler,and right-handed tail end batsman,for Yorkshire in 1982. [1] After failing to establish himself in the team he moved first to Surrey for the 1984 and 1985 seasons,before ending his career at Somerset in 1986. He reappeared for Norfolk in List A cricket in 1990.
In 34 first-class games,Taylor took 79 wickets at 35.12,with a best of 7 for 44 for Surrey against Cambridge University,one of two occasions when he took five wickets in an innings. He also scored 180 runs at 8.18,with a top score of 24 not out. [2] [3]

Schofield Haigh was a Yorkshire and England cricketer. He played for eighteen seasons for Yorkshire County Cricket Club,for England from the 1898/99 tour to 1912,and was a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1901.
George Herbert Hirst was a professional English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1891 and 1921,with a further appearance in 1929. One of the best all-rounders of his time,Hirst was a left arm medium-fast bowler and right-handed batsman. He played in 24 Test matches for England between 1897 and 1909,touring Australia twice. He completed the double of 1,000 runs and 100 wickets in an English cricket season 14 times,the second most of any cricketer after his contemporary and team-mate Wilfred Rhodes. One of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year for 1901,Hirst scored 36,356 runs and took 2,742 wickets in first-class cricket. In Tests,he made 790 runs and captured 59 wickets.
Willie Bates,known as Billy Bates,was an English cricketer. Skilled with both bat and ball,Bates scored over 10,000 first-class runs,took more than 870 wickets and was always reliable in the field. A snappy dresser,Bates was also known as "The Duke".
Roy Kilner was an English professional cricketer who played nine Test matches for England between 1924 and 1926. An all-rounder,he played for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1911 and 1927. In all first-class matches,he scored 14,707 runs at an average of 30.01 and took 1,003 wickets at an average of 18.45. Kilner scored 1,000 runs in a season ten times and took 100 wickets in a season five times. On four occasions,he completed the double:scoring 1,000 runs and taking 100 wickets in the same season,recognised as a sign of a quality all-rounder.
Joe Ambler was an English professional first-class cricketer who made eight appearances in county cricket during the 1880s,playing for both Yorkshire and Somerset. A right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium paced bowler,Ambler also kept wicket on occasion.
Arnold Hamer was a first-class cricketer,who played for Yorkshire in 1938,and for Derbyshire between 1950 and 1960,scoring over 15,000 runs in first-class cricket. He also played as a footballer,playing eight games for York City in 1938.
William Bryan Stott is an English former professional cricketer who played for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1952 to 1963. He also played three first-class matches for the Combined Services from 1955 to 1956. He was born in Yeadon.
George Freeman was an English first-class cricketer. He made 32 appearances for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1865 to 1880. He also played four matches of first-class cricket for the "United England Eleven" (1866–1869),three games for the "North of England" (1867–1869),four for the "United North of England Eleven" (1870) plus one for the "Players" (1871).
Charles John Gifkins was an English amateur first-class cricketer,who played two matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1880.
Joseph Thomas Mounsey was an English first-class cricketer who played 92 games for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1891 and 1897. He also played a first-class match for 'XI of Yorkshire' in 1894,and in non first-class games for Yorkshire Colts,Yorkshire Second XI,and Yorkshire.
John Thomas Rawlin was an English first-class cricketer,who played twenty seven matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1880 and 1885,and 229 matches for Middlesex between 1889 and 1909. He toured Australia with Vernon's team in 1887/89. He also played first-class games for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) from 1887 to 1909.
Arthur Leslie Robinson was an English first-class cricketer,who played eighty four first-class matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1971 and 1977. He also played in 92 List A one day matches.
William Slinn was an English first-class cricketer,who played for Sheffield Cricket Club 1861–62;and for Yorkshire County Cricket Club 1863–64. In other first-class games,he played for the United All-England Eleven (1860),an England "Next XIV" (1860),the North of England (1863),and the All-England Eleven (1864).
Derbyshire County Cricket Club in 1910 was the cricket season when the English club Derbyshire had been playing for thirty nine years. It was their sixteenth season in the County Championship and they won two matches to finish fifteenth in the Championship table.
Christopher Keith Bullen is a former English cricketer. Bullen was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm off break. He was born in Clapham,London and educated at Rutlish School which he attended from 1976 to 1982. An all-rounder,Bullen played for Surrey County Cricket Club,Bedfordshire County Cricket Club and the Surrey Cricket Board in a career which spanned from 1982 to 2002.
Stephen Greensword is a former English cricketer. Greensword was an all-rounder,a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. He was born in Shiney Row,County Durham.

Aneesh Kapil is an English first-class cricketer who has played for Worcestershire County Cricket Club and Surrey. A right-handed batsman and right-hand fast-medium pace bowler he made his first-class debut for Worcestershire against Sussex in August 2011.
