Nicolas Nguyen (born 8 August 2005) is a Slovakian professional football player who plays as a midfielder for 3. Liga (Slovakia) club FK Podkonice. [1]
Nicolas began his career at FK Zeleziarne Podbrezova , a team competing in the Slovak First Football League. Here he played for the youth teams of the club FK Zeleziarne Podbrezova. In the 2022 - 2023 season, he was promoted to the first team. [2] [3]
For the 2023–2024 season, he was loaned by FK Zeleziarne Podbrezova to the FK Pohronie club. He played for the u19 team and the first team of FK Pohronie. [4]
In March 2024, after the loan contract ended, he decided to join the club FK Podkonice. [5]
Nicolas Nguyen has a Vietnamese father and a Slovakian mother, so he can play for both Vietnam and Slovakia. He was called up for Slovakia U15 team in 2019 in the international friendly tournament U15 and he made one appearance in the match against Slovenia U15.
