Nicolau Borges (born 20 January 1979) is a former Indian professional footballer who plays as a left back.
Born in Goa, Borges started his career at a Goa Football Association U15 camp. [2] He also played in a few inter-village tournaments as well as a few amateur Goan teams before joining Sporting Clube de Goa in 2004. [2] He spent three seasons at Sporting Goa before joining Dempo of the I-League in 2007. [2] While with Dempo, Borges helped the club win the I-League three times. [2]
Then, during the summer of 2013, it was confirmed that Borges had signed for Mohun Bagan after being released by Dempo. [2] However, on 5 December 2013, it was announced that Borges had been released by Mohun Bagan. [2]
On 13 January 2014, it was announced that Borges had signed for Pune of the I-League on loan from Mohun Bagan. [3]

The 2014 Indian Federation Cup Final was a football match between Churchill Brothers and Sporting Goa played on 25 January 2014 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, Kerala. The match was the culmination of the 2013–14 Indian Federation Cup. This was the 35th edition of the Federation Cup, the national cup tournament of football in India which is administered by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). Churchill Brothers won by defeating Sporting Goa 3–1 with goals scored by Balwant Singh, Alesh Sawant, and Abdelhamid Shabana while the Sporting Goa goal came from Victorino Fernandes. This was the first time Churchill Brothers had won the tournament.
