Niels Gunther Becker (born 16 June 1942) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Footscray in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He later went on to become a professor at the Australian National University, distinguishing himself in the fields of biostatistics, epidemiology and public health. [1] [2]
Niels Henrik David Bohr was a Danish physicist who made foundational contributions to understanding atomic structure and quantum theory, for which he received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922. Bohr was also a philosopher and a promoter of scientific research.
