Fredensborg is a railway town located in Fredensborg Municipality, North Zealand, some 30 kilometres north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is most known for Fredensborg Palace, one of the official residences of the Danish Royal Family. As of 1 January 2019, the town had a population of 8,703.
North Zealand, also North Sealand, refers to the northern part of the Danish island of Zealand which is not clearly defined but generally covers the area north of Copenhagen. The Danish tourist authorities have recently introduced the term Danish Riviera to cover the area in view of its increasing importance for tourism. The area not only has three magnificent royal castles but offers resorts with sandy beaches, as well as lakes and unspoiled forests. In addition to Kronborg Castle, three of the North Zealand forest areas used for royal par force hunting are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Taarbæk is a Copenhagen suburb. The village covers approximately 0.5 km2, located between Jægersborg Dyrehave and Øresund in the Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality. The population is estimated to 1700 residents. Traditionally, Taarbæk was a fishing village but, nowadays, the village is inhabited by people from the middle or upper class. Taarbæk is named after a former village called Torsbæk, which was located just north of where Taarbæk is today. Despite its small size, Taarbæk has its own school, church, port, tennis club, water skiing club and football club. The water skiing club is among the best in Denmark. The football club Taarbæk IF, is one of the oldest football clubs in Denmark, founded on August 23, 1908.

Nødebo is a village located on the southwestern shores of Lake Esrum in Hillerød Municipality, North Zealand, some 40 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Nødebo Church, the oldest in the area, is notable for its church frescos and its early 16th century altarpiece. Nødebo Kro a historic inn, now serves as a community centre and local cultural venue. Nødebo is surrounded by Forrest of Grib on three sides. Its par force hunting road well-preserved network was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015. The Forest and Landscape College, now part of University of Copenhagen's Department of Geosciences and Natural Resources Management, is located in the northern part of Nødebo.
Løgismose is a Danish food company producing and retailing delicacies and other products under its own brand. The company has the subsidiaries: Løgismose Wine, and Løgismose Dairy, and also controls Falsled Kro on Funen and the Michelin-starred restaurant Kong Hans Kælder in Copenhagen. It also operates a delicacy store in Copenhagen and another in Aarhus, and has online sales. In 2011 it entered into collaboration with the discount supermarket chain Netto which launched a product line under the Løgismose brand in 2010. The company is now part of Løgismose Meyers

Skovshoved is a former fishing village on the Øresund coast north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The area is part of Charlottenlund postal district and Gentofte Municipality. Local landmarks include Skovshoved Church, Sjovshoved Hotel and the listed Arne Jacobsen-designed Skovshoved Petrol Station from 1938.

Secondary route 201 is a numbered road in North Zealand to the north of Copenhagen, Denmark, consisting of Lyngby Omfartsvej, a motorway bypass avoiding Lyngby Hovedgade, and Kongevejen which links Kongens Lyngby in the south with Hillerød in the north by way of Holte, Birkerød and Blovstrød. The road originates in a royal road which was built in 1587 between Copenhagen and Frederiksborg Castle, Frederick II's new North Zealand residence. The southern part of the road has now been replaced by Lyngbyvej and the southernmost portion of Helsingør Motorway.
Small Danish Hotels is the largest hotel chain in Denmark, consisting of approximately 80 privately owned inns, hotels, castles and manor houses scattered throughout Denmark. The chain is a member of the Global Alliance of Private Hotels.
Karen Strand (1924–2000) was a Danish goldsmith and jewellery designer. One of the first students to study at the Goldsmiths College (Guldsmedehøjskolen) in Copenhagen, she is remembered for her simplistic style, creating chains threaded with stones. After working for the jeweller A. Dragsted, she established her own business in 1962.
Francis James Zachariae was a Danish businessman, local historic publisher and philanthropist. He is today mainly remembered for publishing Før og Nu with topographical-historical images of Copenhagen from 1915 to 1927.
Forhåbningsholms Allé is a street in the Frederiksberg district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Gammel Kongevej in the south to Niels Ebbesens Vej in the north. Notable buildings in the street include the Immanuel Church from 1893 and the former country house Forhåbningsholm for which the street is named.
Hegnsholt is a country house an estate located at Grønholt, between Fredensborg and Hillerød, North Zealand, some 40 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The first main building on the estate was built in 1815 to designs by Christian Frederik Hansen but it was extended in 1904 and adapted by the architect Louis Hygom in 1920 for the businessman William Bendix. The estate is now owned by Cabinn Hotels-owner Niels Fennet. The adjacent Grønholt Airfield was built on part of the land in 1940.
