Nikutoru is a place at the southern end of the Tabiteuea atoll in the Gilbert Islands of the island state Kiribati in the Pacific Ocean. [1] It belongs to the district South Tabiteuea. In 2017, the place had approx. 155 inhabitants.[ citation needed ]
Nikutoru is located at the southeastern tip of Tabiteuea on the Motu Buariki. The place is located on the inside of the Lagune in the southeast corner and south of the Flugplatz Tabiteuea Süd. [2] In the village there is a traditional Versammlungshaus: Nikutoru Maneaba.
In the east, the Motu Nuguti joins and in the south Katabanga.
