Nils Gunnar Lie (born 23 November 1950) is a Norwegian television personality.
He hails from Øystese. [1] He started his career in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, and worked on Dagsnytt and as a news anchor on Dagsrevyen . [2] In 1989 he was awarded the Se og Hør readers' TV personality of the year award. [3]
In 1992 he was hired by the new television channel TV 2. From 1992 to late 1997 he hosted about 180 editions of the debate program Holmgang. [4] He also hosted the Norwegian version of Jeopardy! for a period, parallel to hosting Holmgang, but quit in April 1997 to concentrate on the latter program. [5] From Holmgang he continued to TV 2-nyhetene as a news anchor. [1]
In early 2005 he went from TV 2-nyhetene to the breakfast television show God morgen, Norge . [6]
TV 2 Direkte is a Norwegian terrestrial television channel. Its headquarters are located in Bergen. TV 2 began test broadcasting on 13 November 1991, and a year later, it was officially launched on 5 September 1992, becoming Norway's first commercial free-to-air television channel. Alf Tande-Petersen, nicknamed Tande-P, is a Norwegian television personality, journalist, writer and businessperson. In his early career he wrote for newspapers and was a radio presenter, and he has released books in several genres, mostly humor and crime novels. He was also behind various revues and stage shows. As a television presenter he was very successful, peaking in 1992 with the show Tande-På programmet which at times was viewed by almost half of Norway's population. He also had a business venture as a restaurant owner, but after three years the companies went bankrupt.
