No Love Lost is the debut album by English indie rock band The Rifles,which was released on 17 July 2006. The album reached number 26 on the UK charts.
The album spawned five singles:"Peace &Quiet","When I'm Alone","Local Boy","Repeated Offender",and "She's Got Standards".
On 1 June 2015,No Love Lost was digitally remastered at Abbey Road Studios and re-released as part of the 10th anniversary of the album. The re-release featured b-sides and demos from the recording of the original album. [1]

He began his career as the vocalist of post-hardcore band Million Dead,then embarked upon a primarily acoustic-based solo career following the band's split in 2005. In the studio and during live performances,Turner is accompanied by his backing band,The Sleeping Souls,which consists of Ben Lloyd,Tarrant Anderson (bass),Matt Nasir and Callum Green (drums).
The Celibate Rifles were an Australian punk rock band which formed in 1979 with a line-up that included mainstays Dave Morris on rhythm guitar and Kent Steedman on lead guitar,within a year they were joined by Damien Lovelock on lead vocals. They released their first album,Sideroxylon,in April 1983 on the Hot Records label. The band has toured both America and Europe extensively,and released their ninth studio album,Beyond Respect on 19 July 2004. In 1985 the group's style was described as post-Radio Birdman sound which is "a combination of fast,guitar-driven,hard rock and power pop". In November 1987 Sounds magazine's Roger Holland described their album,Roman Beach Party as showing the group's "sawn off rock potential all the way down to the bleached white of the bone,the lyrics reveal all the anger,insight and humour that makes [them] one of the most powerful rock bands in the world today". In April 1994 The Celibate Rifles issued Spaceman in a Satin Suit which according to Australian rock music historian,Ian McFarlane "was [their] best studio album since Blind Ear". Lovelock undertook a solo career and issued two albums as well as becoming a TV sports presenter prior to his death in 2019.
"Atmosphere" is a song by English post-punk band Joy Division. It was originally released in March 1980 by the Sordide Sentimental label as the "Licht und Blindheit" package,a France-only limited edition single featuring the track "Dead Souls" as the B-side. Following Ian Curtis's death in May,it was re-released as a 12" single by Factory Records in August with "She's Lost Control" as the B-side.

The album delay was somewhat attributed to the length of time it took to record. The Rifles used two different producers,Dave McCracken and Stan "Jan" Kybert,as well as recording the album in three different locations.
