Nogok bombing incident

On March 6, 2025, eight MK-82 bombs were accidentally dropped by two South Korean KF-16 fighter jets and exploded [1] in the rural South Korean village of Nogok, [2] injuring 15 civilians. [3]

The fighter jets were taking part in a one-day firing drill with the U.S. military coming from Pocheon. [1]
