Bird Arcgutects Copenhagen, often styled NORD Architects, is an architectural company based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The company was established in 2003 by founding partners Johannes Molander Pedersen (born 1974) and Morten Rask Gregersen (born 1974). In 2015, NORD Architects received the Droga Architect in Residence in Sydney Australia. [1]

Copenhagen Capital city of Denmark

Copenhagen is the capital and most populous city of Denmark. As of 1 January 2020, the city had a population of 794,128 with 632,340 in Copenhagen Municipality, 104,305 in Frederiksberg Municipality, 42,989 in Tårnby Municipality, and 14,494 in Dragør Municipality. It forms the core of the wider urban area of Copenhagen and the Copenhagen metropolitan area. Copenhagen is situated on the eastern coast of the island of Zealand; another portion of the city is located on Amager, and it is separated from Malmö, Sweden, by the strait of Øresund. The Øresund Bridge connects the two cities by rail and road.

Architecture of Denmark

The architecture of Denmark has its origins in the Viking period, richly revealed by archaeological finds. It became firmly established in the Middle Ages when first Romanesque, then Gothic churches and cathedrals sprang up throughout the country. It was during this period that, in a country with little access to stone, brick became the construction material of choice, not just for churches but also for fortifications and castles.

C. F. Møller Architects

Arkitektfirmaet C. F. Møller, internationally also known as C. F. Møller Architects, is an architectural firm based in Århus, Denmark. Founded in 1924 by C. F. Møller, it is today the largest architectural firm in Denmark based on number of employed architects. About half the revenue is earned outside Denmark. Besides the main office in Århus, the firm has offices in Copenhagen, Oslo, London and in 2007 it bought the Stockholm-based Swedish architectural practice Berg Arkitekter which is still operated under its own name.

Dorte Mandrup Danish architect (born 1961)

Dorte Mandrup-Poulsen is a Danish architect. Founder and Creative Director of the architectural practice Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter A/S that has approximately 60 employees. The practice is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and is behind several internationally acclaimed buildings.

St. Andrew's Church is a Lutheran church on Gothersgade in Copenhagen, Denmark, which was designed by the architect Martin Borch and built from 1897 to 1901. It is a parish church within the Danish National Church.

Bjarke Ingels Group, often referred to as BIG, is a Copenhagen and New York based group of architects, designers and builders operating within the fields of architecture, urbanism, research and development. The office is currently involved in a large number of projects throughout Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. As of 2016, the office has over 400 employees from 25 countries.

Stig Lennart Andersson usually referred to as Stig L. Andersson, is a Danish landscape architect, founder and Creative Director of Copenhagen-based SLA which has developed into an interdisciplinary organisation working with landscape, urban spaces and urban planning.

Arkitema Architects

Arkitema Architects is a Danish architectural firm headquartered in Aarhus, with branch offices in Copenhagen, Malmö, Stockholm and Oslo. Arkitema Architects was founded in 1969 in Aarhus, and nowadays has about 400 employees with its main activity in Scandinavia.

AART architects is an architectural firm based in Aarhus, Denmark. With several winning projects in international architecture competitions AART architects is one of the leading architectural firms in Denmark. Over the years their work has received several honorary awards and been exhibited internationally in places like the Venice Biennale, La Galerie d'Architecture in Paris and the European Parliament in Brussels.

Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects (VLA) is an architectural firm based in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was founded by Vilhelm Lauritzen, who headed the firm from its foundation in 1922 until 1969.

Frederiksberg Campus (University of Copenhagen)

Frederiksberg Campus is one of the four main campuses of University of Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located in Frederiksberg and is home to large parts of the Faculty of Science' activities within the fields of natural science and biosciences as well as part of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, including the University Hospital for Companion Animals. The main campus is located on the west side of Bülowsvej, on both sides of Thorvaldsensvej and Rolighedsvej. It occupies the former grounds of the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University (KVL) which was merged into the University of Copenhagen in 2007. The main building at Bülowsvej No. 17 is from 1895.

Nørre Allé


Nørre Alle is a street in Copenhagen, Denmark, running from Blegdamsvej in Nørrebro in the south to Vibenshus Runddel in Østerbro in the north. It runs through University of Copenhagen's North Campus which is centred on its junction with Tagensvej. The section north of the junction, which separates Fælledparken to the east from the University Park to the west, is a busy artery. De Gamles By is situated on the west side of the more quiet, western portion.

Martin Bussert or Morten Bussert vas a sculptor and Royal Master Builder in Denmark in the early 1500s. His last name is sometimes recorded as "Bossart" or "Bussart".

Guldbergsgade

Guldbergsgade is a street in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It follows a clockwise curve from Sankt Hans Torv in the south to Tagensvej in the north. The first part of the street passes the Jewish Northern Cemetery to the west and De Gamles By to the east. The public space Guldbergs Plads with a landscaped playground, is located close to its north end.

Prinsesse Charlottes Gade

Prinsesse Charlottes Gade is a street in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark, linking Meinungsgade in the southeast with Jagtvej in the northwest.
