The Yverdon to Sainte-Croix Railway is a 1,000 mmmetre gauge railway line and former railway company in Switzerland. The line connects the towns of Yverdon-les-Bains and Sainte-Croix, both in the canton of Vaud, and is some 24 kilometres (15 mi) long, overcoming a vertical height change of 633 metres (2,077 ft). It is now owned and operated by the TRAVYS company.
The 1991 UEFA European Under-16 Championship was the ninth edition of UEFA's European Under-16 Football Championship. Switzerland hosted the championship, during 8–18 May 1991. 16 teams entered the competition, and Spain won their third title.

Michel Egloff was a Swiss prehistorian. He founded the Musée d'archéologie de Neuchâtel, which houses the archeological service of the Canton of Neuchâtel. The 2021–22 Swiss Cup is the 97th season of Switzerland's annual football cup competition. The competition began on 13 August 2021 with the first games of Round 1. The final was held on 15 May 2022 at Wankdorf Stadium, Berne. FC Lugano beat last years runner-ups FC St. Gallen 4-1 and won their fourth Swiss Cup.
Blonay railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Blonay, in the Swiss canton of Vaud. It is located at the junction of the 1,000 mmmetre gauge Vevey–Les Pléiades and Blonay–Chamby railway lines. Both are owned by Transports Montreux–Vevey–Riviera, although the latter is operated as a heritage railway by the Blonay–Chamby Museum Railway.
