Norsk pop & rock-leksikon is Norwegian biographical encyclopaedia covering the last 100 years of Norwegian music. [1]
The encyclopaedia was issued in 2005 by the publishing house Vega forlag. The initiator was Jan Eggum, [2] who co-edited the encyclopedia along with Bård Ose and Siren Steen. It contains around 1,300 articles.
Jan Eggum is a Norwegian singer-songwriter. He has been characterized as a "face for the melancholy", and the themes in his songs are often broken hearts, loneliness, and sorrow. Sometimes his lyrics include social criticism, but he also shows trivial and funny sides of himself.

Einar Rose was a Norwegian actor, revue artist, singer and restaurant keeper. He was among Norway's most popular singers, and recorded more than 300 songs between 1927 and 1941. He made his debut in the revue Regnbuen på Mayol in 1925. He played at the revue theatre Chat Noir from 1926, and was artistic director at Chat Noir from 1936. Among his best known song performances are "Svigermor og Evensen og kjerringa og jeg", "Sol ute, sol inne", "Ola var fra Sandefjord" and "Nå går'n på gummisåler".
Kari Svendsen is a Norwegian singer, banjo player and revue artist. She was born in Oslo, and has been married to singer-songwriter Lillebjørn Nilsen.
Ingrid Bjørnov is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, keyboard player, composer and text writer. Her debut album Første Akt from 1980 with the duo Dollie was awarded Spellemannprisen, and the duo represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 1984. She spent seven years with the musical Which Witch, which premiered in 1987. Among her later musicals is Markus og Julie from 2007, with text by Klaus Hagerup, staged at Trøndelag Teater. Among her books are Ingrid Bjørnovs pianobok from 2005 and Lakse-enka – nødskrik fra en tørrflue from 2007. She was awarded the Leonard Statuette in 2013.
Dollie de Luxe were a Norwegian pop duo consisting of Benedicte Adrian and Ingrid Bjørnov. Their debut album Første Akt from 1980 was awarded Spellemannprisen. They represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 with the song "Lenge leve livet".

Musica is a Norwegian record label. It was founded in 1945 as Nera A/S. From 1956 onward, it faced competition from the RCA label. After Nera A/S discontinued its gramophone business in 1973, Musica was taken over by the company A/S Disco and later by Grammofon A/S Electra.
