North Hills Country Club is a country club which was relocated in the 1960s to North Hills, New York, United States. The club was founded in 1927 at the current location of Douglaston Park.

The golf course in North Hills was designed by Robert Trent Jones [1] in 1961. [2]

The Vivint Houston Open is a professional golf tournament in Texas on the PGA Tour, played in early October. As a part of a restructuring of the schedule, the event moved to the fall in 2019. Because the tour year starts the previous fall, the event will not be a part of the 2019 PGA Tour, but will be one of the first events of the 2020 PGA Tour. It is held at the Memorial Park Municipal Golf Course in Harris County near downtown Houston and the Galleria.

Eisenhower Park, formerly known as Salisbury Park, is centrally located in East Meadow, New York bordered by Hempstead Turnpike on the south and Old Country Road on the north. At 930 acres (3.8 km2), it is larger than Central Park, with much of the area devoted to three 18-hole golf courses, including the Red Course, host to the annual Commerce Bank Championship. Byram Hills High School (BHHS) is a four-year co-educational public secondary school located in Armonk, New York, United States. Its principal is Christopher Walsh. It is the only secondary school in the Byram Hills Central School District, and serves students from the towns of North Castle, Bedford, Mount Pleasant, and New Castle. The school currently enrolls over 800 students in grades 9–12. As of 2020, Byram Hills is ranked #22 in the state and #184 nationally by U.S. News & World Report.

Wykagyl Country Club is a golf course in the Wykagyl section of New Rochelle, New York. Through the years, the club has hosted major professional and amateur tournaments and is considered to be one of the premier "classic courses" in the country.

1932 U.S. Open (golf)

The 1932 U.S. Open was the 36th U.S. Open, held June 23–25 at Fresh Meadow Country Club in Flushing, New York, a neighborhood in the north-central part of the borough of Queens in New York City. Gene Sarazen won his second U.S. Open championship, and the fifth of his seven major titles, ten years after his first U.S. Open win. Earlier in the month, he won the 1932 British Open in England.

Fresh Meadow Country Club is a country club with a golf course in the eastern United States, located on Long Island in Lake Success, New York, its home since 1946. The club opened in the New York City borough of Queens in 1923, with a golf course designed by noted course architect A. W. Tillinghast, and hosted two major championships in the early 1930s.

The 1919 PGA Championship was the second PGA Championship, which is now considered one of golf's major championships. It was held September 16–20 at the Engineers Country Club in Roslyn Harbor, New York, east of New York City on Long Island in Nassau County.

1930 PGA Championship

The 1930 PGA Championship was the 13th PGA Championship, held September 8–13 in New York City at Fresh Meadow Country Club in Flushing, Queens. Then a match play championship, Tommy Armour defeated Gene Sarazen 1 up in the finals for the second of his three major titles.

2010 LPGA Championship

The 2010 LPGA Championship was the 56th LPGA Championship, held June 24–27 at Locust Hill Country Club in Pittsford, New York, a suburb southeast of Rochester. Known for sponsorship reasons as the LPGA Championship presented by Wegmans, it was the second of four major championships on the LPGA Tour during the 2010 season.
