Northfleet Technology College Basketball Academy was started in 2009 by Northfleet Technology College to recruit elite basketball players from the South East of England. The academy is based at Northfleet Technology College, Colyer Road, Northfleet, Kent, DA11 8BG, England. The team is an official Kent Crusaders Basketball Academy who play in U19 Academies Basketball League and the U17 & U19 England Basketball Schools competition.
Northfleet Technology College Basketball Academy athletes are equipped with Nike tracksuits, bags, training tees and Medway Park Crusaders kits and shooting shirts each with their own number and name.
Northfleet Technology College Basketball Academy play in the state-of-the-art basketball gym at Northfleet Technology College which was opened in 2010, facilitating plexi backboards, flexi rims and a spring-loaded floor.

Northfleet is a town in the borough of Gravesham in Kent, England. It is located immediately west of Gravesend, and on the border with the Borough of Dartford. Northfleet has its own railway station on the North Kent Line, just east of Ebbsfleet International railway station on the High Speed 1 line.
Bryce Homer Drew is an American college basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Grand Canyon Antelopes. Previously he served as the head coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores and in the same capacity at his alma mater, Valparaiso, having succeeded his father, Homer Drew. Drew has led his teams to the NCAA tournament on four occasions, including at least once at each of the three schools he has been the head coach of.

The basketball team competes in the Missouri Valley Conference, having joined that league in 2017 after 10 seasons in the Horizon League. The Holy Cross Crusaders men's basketball team represents the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts in NCAA Division I competition. The team competes in the Patriot League and plays their home games in the Hart Center. The program boasts such notable alumni as Boston Celtics legends Bob Cousy and Tom Heinsohn, and longtime Providence College basketball coach Joe Mullaney. Under coach Doggie Julian, the Crusaders won a national championship in 1947. It is the only school from Massachusetts to win an NCAA Division I tournament. Dave Paulsen was appointed the program's 19th head coach on March 28, 2023.

It was formed from the split of London Country Bus Services in 1986 and operated a fleet of around 170 buses from four garages, with its headquarters located in Northfleet. The 1946–47 Holy Cross Crusaders men's basketball team represented the College of the Holy Cross in NCAA competition in the 1946–47 season. The Crusaders, behind coach Alvin "Doggie" Julian, NCAA tournament MVP George Kaftan, star Joe Mullaney and a freshman point guard named Bob Cousy, beat Oklahoma at Madison Square Garden to win the NCAA championship.
AC Crusaders is a professional American soccer team based in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, United States. Founded in 2010, the team made its debut in the Northeast Keystone Division of the National Premier Soccer League, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid in 2011. Robert T. Curran was an American college baseball and basketball coach. He was head basketball coach at the University of Massachusetts from 1952 to 1959 and head baseball coach at the College of the Holy Cross from 1967 to 1970.
Matthew Lottich is an American basketball coach who was previously the head coach of the Valparaiso University men's basketball team. He was named head coach on April 7, 2016, one day after Bryce Drew left the program. He was terminated as head coach on March 23, 2023. Lottich had been an assistant at Valparaiso since 2013. He went to New Trier High School in Winnetka, IL where he was an all-state athlete in basketball, baseball, and as a quarterback in football. He played collegiately at Stanford University, where he earned Honorable Mention All-Pac-10 accolades as a senior. After college, Lottich played professional basketball internationally. He played in New Zealand for the Harbour Heat of the NBL in 2004. He played two stints for the Japanese bj league with the Osaka Evessa from 2005 to 2008, and the Oita Heat Devils from 2009 to 2012. Lottich also played in the Bundesliga for the Düsseldorf Giants from 2008 to 2009.
