Heidi Sørensen is a Norwegian politician for the Socialist Left Party.
Natur og Ungdom (NU) which translates Nature and Youth, also known in English as Young Friends of the Earth Norway, is a Norwegian youth environment protecting organisation. It is the only environmentalist youth organisation in Norway. 7,000 members, in 80 local groups, work on environmental issues all throughout the country. Officially, NU is the youth branch of the Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature. The organisation is led by Gaute Eiterjord.

Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland (BUND) is a German non-governmental organisation (NGO) dedicated to preserving nature and protecting the environment. The name means "German Federation for the Environment and Nature Conservation". Its subtitle Friends of the Earth Germany indicates that BUND is a member organisation of the international network Friends of the Earth (FoE).

Bård Lappegård Lahn is a Norwegian environmentalist and writer. He is a researcher at CICERO Center for international climate research in Oslo, with a research focus on climate politics, sociology, and Science and Technology Studies. He has previously worked as an adviser on international climate policy in the Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature, and from 2006 to 2008 he was chairman of the environmental NGO Natur og Ungdom. Prior to his leadership he had been deputy chairman since 2003 and an active member of Natur og Ungdom since the mid-1990s.

Lars Haltbrekken is a Norwegian environmentalist and was elected to the Parliament of Norway in 2017 for the Socialist Left Party (Norway). He was chairman of Friends of the Earth Norway from 2005 to 2016 after having been deputy chairman from 2003 to 2005. Haltbrekken was also chairman of Natur og Ungdom in 1995 and 1996. In between the two leaderships he worked primarily trying to prevent natural gas power plants in Norway, and was chairman of Fellesaksjonen mot gasskraftverk. He grew up in Trondheim.
Putsj is a magazine affiliated with the Norwegian environmental organisation Natur og Ungdom. The magazine was started in 2000. It is a youth magazine writing about topics related to youth, activism, culture and environmentalism. The headquarters of the magazine is in Oslo.
Trillemarka is a 147 km2 (57 sq mi) nature reserve located in Buskerud, Norway. It was created on December 13, 2002 and is located in the hill- and mountain areas between Nore in Numedal and Solevann in Sigdal, partially in the municipalities of Sigdal, Nore og Uvdal, and Rollag. The nature reserve consists of one of the largest natural forest areas in central Østlandet and includes virgin forest and 93 red list species.
Fellesaksjonen mot gasskraftverk is a former environmental organisation that functioned as a binding between various NGOs who were opposed to the construction of fossile gas thermal power plants in Norway. It was created in all secrecy in 1997 and was able to collect about 3,000 people willing to use civil disobedience to hinder the construction, before going public to announce this resistance. The organization was disestablished in 2002.
SustainableEnergy (VedvarendeEnergi) which was called Danish Organisation for Renewable Energy (OVE) until 2010, is a non-governmental, non-profit, membership based association. SustainableEnergy was founded in 1975 based on a popular movement for renewable energy in Denmark with close relationship to the anti-nuclear movement (OOA), which had an immense popular backup.

Silje Ask Lundberg is a Norwegian environmentalist and chairman of Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature. She is a former leader of Nature and Youth. She grew up in Harstad in Northern Norway. Prior to her leadership she has been deputy chairman and been working for other environmental organisations, such as ZERO and Bellona Foundation.
The Danish Outdoor Council is a non-governmental umbrella organisation for organisations active in the promotion of outdoor, recreational activities as well as nature protection interests in Denmark. It was founded on 27 November 1942 and now has 94 member organisations.
Ingrid Skjoldvær is a Norwegian environmentalist and a former chairperson of the environmental organisation Nature and Youth. She comes from Sortland in Vesterålen and has held several positions in the organisation, most recently as deputy chairman, before she was elected as head of the organisation on 10 January 2016, a position she held until 2017.
