Hucknall Town Football Club is a football club based in the town of Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, England. The club is a member of the United Counties League Premier Division North and plays at the RM Stadium.
West Bridgford is a town and the administrative centre of the Borough of Rushcliffe, in the county of Nottinghamshire, England. It lies south of Nottingham city centre, east of Wilford, north of Ruddington and west of Radcliffe-on-Trent. Sutton Town A.F.C. was a football club based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, England. The team was reformed in 2020, and was initially accepted into the Notts Senior league, but they never started the seasons fixtures. They then began playing friendlies in Spring 2021 ahead of again joining the Notts Senior League. They played against Nottinghamshire, Nuthall AFC, Trent Vineyard and Rushcliffe Reserves although the results were not made public.

Gedling Town Football Club was a semi-professional football club based in Stoke Bardolph, Nottinghamshire, England. Founded in 1985 as R & R Scaffolding, the works team of a construction firm from Netherfield, Gedling played its first four seasons in the Notts Amateur League. The club joined the nationwide league system in 1992–93. At the time of its dissolution in 2011 due to insolvency, Gedling competed in the East Midlands Counties Football League (EMCFL) Premier Division at the tenth tier of the English football pyramid.

Gedling Miners Welfare Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in Mapperley, Nottingham, England. Founded in 1919 as the works team of Gedling Colliery, the club went into abeyance in 1935 due to a lack of support. It reformed in 1941 and soon began its most successful period, prompting the Daily Mirror to describe Gedling as "Nottinghamshire's leading amateur team" in 1956. The club's reputation had waned by the mid-1960s, and the team endured relative obscurity until it joined the nationwide league system in 2003. Gedling now competes in the United Counties League (UCL) Division One at the tenth tier of the English football pyramid.

The Leicestershire Rugby Union (LRU) is the governing body for the sport of rugby union in the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland in England. The union is the constituent body of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) for those counties. The LRU administers and organises rugby union clubs and competitions in those two counties and administers the Leicestershire county rugby representative teams.
The Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire & Derbyshire Rugby Football Union is a governing body for rugby union in part of The Midlands, England.
