Nuestra Belleza Latina 2018, the 11th season of the program, premiered on September 23, 2018. In February 2017, the program was rested after ten seasons of broadcasting. [1] However, in May 2018, it was announced that the program would return the following September. [2] This would be the first season in the history of the show to premiere during the fall, as the previous ten all took place during the springtime. Several changes were implemented in the format such as removing the age and weight limit requirements as seen before. Migbelis Castellanos would be crowned the winner of this season on December 2, 2018.

Thirty-three contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Priscila Perales from Nuevo León, who later competed in Miss Universe 2006 in United States where she was a Semifinalist in the Top 10. Perales was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Laura Elizondo. She was the third Neoleonesa to win this title.

Nuestra Belleza Latina 2007 was the first season of Nuestra Belleza Latina. After castings around the United States and Puerto Rico 12 finalists moved to Miami and lived together where they received different classes of dancing, runway, diction, teleprompter and physical training. The finalists also competed against each other in different challenges. After each episode of the show was over, the audience at home got to vote for their favorite contestant by phone or text message. Contestants represented themselves, not their countries, therefore it was permissible to have more than one contestant from the same country or have the same nationality. Week by week the finalist with the lowest votes was eliminated. The winner of the contest won a contract to be one of the new personality faces on many of Univision's programs and award shows, and a chance to win more than $200,000 in cash and prizes and reign as Nuestra Belleza Latina for a year.
Nuestra Belleza Latina 2009 is the third season of Nuestra Belleza Latina premiered on March 2009. Auditions were once again held in five major US cities and in San Juan, Puerto Rico. During the audition process, 75 young women were given passes to the semi-finals in Miami, Florida. With the twist of adding one more contestant named "La Intrusa". For several weeks, Francheska Mattei, a professional actress, posed as one of the contestants to know the rumors, secrets, and even gossip from the girls. The elimination process was quick, with 15 women leaving the first day, 40 on the second week, and finally 8 women were eliminated leaving the 12 finalists who will be moving into a Miami mansion where they will be living together for the rest of the competition. Each week, viewers will have a chance to vote for their favorite finalists. The three women with the fewest votes will then be in danger of being eliminated. However, two of the women in the bottom three will have the chance of being saved, one by her fellow finalists, and the other by the judges. This year they had an "Intrusa", the one that spilled the gossip about the contestants and it was Puerto Rican, Francheska Mattei.
