Number One Surprise is a Chinese comedy variety show television series developed by Jason Goldberg and produced by STXtelevision and XG Entertainment. It premiered on Hunan TV, Mango TV and PPTV on 21 November 2016. It had almost 300 million viewers on its premiere and, as of January 2017, was the most watched program on Hunan TV. [1] It was cancelled after 4 episodes on TV and went straight to online only broadcast.

The show's official name was Mengniu Yoghurt Super Girl Contest until 2009; later it was known as BBK Music Phone Super Girl Contest, after the company that sponsored the series. It was generally described as the unofficial mainland Chinese version of the global television franchise Pop Idol (2001) and became one of the most popular entertainment shows in the country. Despite Super Girl's major popularity and success, the show was heavily criticised by Liu Zhongde, a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. In the show, Chen Xuedong served as homeroom teacher while Xiao Song Jia served as a teacher. It was first aired on October 17, 2014, and was broadcast on every Friday.

Up Idol is a Chinese celebrity reality show broadcast on Hunan Television. The first season debuted on 1 August 2015 with 12 episodes featuring two captains and ten popular celebrities as they travel to different places and experience the Chinese culture. The program was relaunched in 2016. The Chinese title was changed to We are Coming though the official English title remains unchanged as Up Idol. The second season debuted on 22 July 2016 with 12 episodes. The third season debuted on 4 August 2017 with 12 episodes.

Come Sing with Me is a Chinese variety music show, broadcast on Hunan Television. The show is hosted by Wang Han and the singer Han Hong, which invites exceptional renowned singers and ordinary people like fans. Every episode takes about 90 minutes to broadcast. The program's first season has 11 episodes, released on 7 May 2016, while the second season has 12 episodes and released on 29 April 2017. Mandopop folk singer Fei Yu-ching was the host of the final episode of the first season. Come Sing With Me ranked second in the Top 10 Popular China TV Shows in the first half of the year 2016.
