Dune is the debut album by Japanese rock band L'Arc-en-Ciel. It was released by the independent label Danger Crue Records, first in a limited edition on April 10, 1993 and followed by a regular edition on April 27, which contained an additional tenth track. The regular edition reached number 1 on the Oricon indies chart on May 10.
A9, previously known as Alice Nine, is a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in Tokyo in 2004. A9 was a part of PS Company until 2014. The band had King Records as its record label until 2010, when they joined Tokuma Japan. Then, in 2013, they joined Universal Music Group's Nayutawave Records.

The anime, directed by Takayuki Inagaki, premiered on both Tokyo MX TV and TV Saitama on October 1, 2006. The anime's 13 episodes were released between October 1, 2006 and December 24, 2006. An extra episode was released on July 19, 2007.
