Nurah Gyeile is a Ghanaian academic and agricultural expert. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party and serves as the minister for food and agriculture. [1]
Nurah Gyeile was employed at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and lectured at the Agricultural Economics,Agribusiness &Extension of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. [2] In March 2017,President Nana Akufo-Addo nominated him to the position of minister of state in the Ministry of Agriculture. [3] [4] [5] He met the Appointments Committee of the Parliament of Ghana where he was vetted to ascertain his level of knowledge and vision for the position he had been nominated to handle. [6] He was approved the members of parliament in April 2017. [7]
The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) is the official body in Ghana responsible for all public elections. Made up of seven members,its independence is guaranteed by the 1992 Ghana constitution. The current commission was established by the Electoral Commission Act (Act 451) of 1993. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan was the first substantive chairman of the commission,from 1993 to 2015. He was succeeded by Charlotte Osei as the first female chairman of the commission from 2015 to June 2018. Jean Adukwei Mensah succeeded Charlotte Osei in July 2018. On December 5,2018,the Electoral commission chaired by Jean Adukwei Mensah reverted to the old logo showing the Coat of arms of Ghana and a ballot box showing the hand casting its votes,after the controversy over the new logo.
Martin Alamisi Burnes Kaiser Amidu is a Ghanaian politician and lawyer who served as Attorney General and Minister for Justice in Ghana from 2011 to 2012 and then as the First Special Prosecutor of the country from 2018 until his resignation in 2020,citing political interference by the President,Nana Akufo-Addo. He is also known for introducing the word ‘gargantuan‘,into the body politics of Ghana,when he opened investigations in the Woyome scandal which was one of the highest profiled corruption cases at the time. On 11 January 2018,Martin A.B.K Amidu was named by the President of Ghana as the Special Prosecutor for the newly created Office of the Special Prosecutor. Nana Akufo-Addo touted his anti-corruption fights as Attorney General and a private citizen as reasons for choosing Mr. Amidu,his one-time political adversary.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo took office as Ghana's president on 7 January 2017 after winning the December 2016 presidential elections. A number of controversies have arisen under his administration.
Daniel Kwaku Botwe is a Ghanaian politician. He is the Member of Parliament of Okere constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He served as Minister for Information and National Orientation in the John Agyekum Kufour administration and also served as the Minister for Regional Reorganization and Development and the Minister for Local Government,Decentralisation and Rural Development in the Nana Akufo-Addo first and second term of office respectively.
Owusu Afriyie Akoto is a Ghanaian agricultural economist and politician. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party and was a Member of Parliament for the Kwadaso Constituency from 2009 to 2017. He was the cabinet minister in the Nana Akufo-Addo administration and served as Minister of Food and Agriculture of Ghana. He resigned on 10 January 2023 to focus on his presidential ambition. He holds MSc and PHD Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Cambridge,England.
Catherine Ablema Afeku is a Ghanaian politician. She is a member of the New Patriotic Party and the Member of Parliament for the Evalue Gwira Constituency in the Western Region. She was a cabinet minister in the Nana Akuffo-Addo administration and served as the Minister of Tourism,Culture and Creative Arts of Ghana from February 2017 to February 2019.
Samuel Atta Akyea is a Ghanaian lawyer and politician. A member of the New Patriotic Party of Ghana,he served as the Minister for Works and Housing until January 2021,and the current Member of Parliament of Akim Abuakwa South constituency. He is only the second person apart from President Nana Akufo-Addo to have been elected as MP of that constituency in the 4th republic.
Kwasi Amoako-Attah is a Ghanaian lawyer,management consultant and politician. He is the Member of Parliament of the Atiwa West constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party and,as of 2017. He is currently Ghana's Minister for Roads and Highways.
Samuel Kofi Ahiave Dzamesi is a Ghanaian politician who is chief executive of the Bui Power Authority since August 2021. A member of the New Patriotic Party,he was Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs in Ghana from 2017 to 2021 in the Akufo-Addo administration and has been Regional Minister for the Volta Region from 2005 to 2008 under the John Kufour administration.

Charles Kofi Adu Boahen is a Ghanaian politician and a public servant. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party and was the deputy minister for Finance in Ghana until November 2022. He is the son of Mrs Mary Adu Boahen and Prof. Albert Adu Boahen,a global academician,historian and politician who became the New Patriotic Party's flagbearer in the 1992 Ghanaian general elections. He was the Minister of State at the Finance Ministry but was dismissed after allegations of corruption.

He has served as the Pro-vice-chancellor of the University of Ghana and the president of the Central University. In 2017,President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo appointed him as Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Operations at the Office of the President,at the age of 33,the youngest in the history of Ghana to occupy such a position. He is currently the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources and assumed position as caretaker Minister of Trade and Industry on 16th January,2023.

Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum is a Ghanaian politician and member of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana,representing the Bosomtwe Constituency in the Ashanti Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party. The presidency of Nana Akufo-Addo began on 7 January 2017. Following the 2016 Ghanaian general elections,Nana Akufo-Addo the flag-bearer of the New Patriotic Party,succeeded John Mahama as the 5th President of the Ghanaian Fourth Republic after winning by a landslide. He won a second term on 9 December 2020 in a tightly contested race against National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate and former president,John Mahama.
