Nuria Roca Granell (Moncada, Valencia, 23 March 1972) is a Spanish writer, TV presenter, actress, radio announcer and architect.
In 1993 she finished her studies at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia [1] In 1999 she hosted the TV programme ¿Cuánto cuesta?. [2] Between 2003 and 2005 she presented La isla de los famosos on Antena 3 and in 2004 UHF. [3]
In 2017 she started to present the TV program Fantastic Duo in La 1. [4] In December 2017 she returned to Cuatro after being seven years out Mediaset España and she presented the dating show Singles XD. [5] The program was cancelled the same month after thirteen episodes due to the low share. [6]
In September 2018 she became a team member in the Spanish talk show El hormiguero . [7]
She got married with the writer and businessman Juan del Val and they keep an open marriage. [8] She has a son named Juan born in 2002, a son named Pau born in 2006 and a daughter named Olivia born in 2010. [9]
Television in Spain was launched on 28 October 1956, when the national state-owned public service television broadcaster Televisión Española (TVE) started regular analog free-to-air terrestrial black and white broadcasts. Colour transmissions started in 1972 after two years of test transmissions, with all programming transmitted in color in 1977, and colour commercials starting in 1978. TVE held a monopoly on television broadcasting until regional public channels were launched during the 1980s and commercial television started nationwide in 1990. Digital terrestrial television was launched on 30 November 2005 with analog service discontinued on 3 April 2010. Currently, television is one of the leading mass media of the country, and by 2008 was in 99.7% of households in Spain according to INE statistics.
Pilar Rubio Fernández is a Spanish reporter and TV presenter. She became famous for covering events for the program Sé lo que hicisteis... for the television network La Sexta. From January 2010 to January 2013 she was linked to Telecinco, having hosted Operación Triunfo and ¡Más que baile!, besides of being the protagonist of the series Piratas, released in May 2011. Since 2014 has appeared as a collaborator in El Hormiguero. In 2012, she started a relationship with footballer Sergio Ramos, with whom she has four children.
