Jamaal Lee Tinsley is an American former professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Tinsley played college basketball for the Iowa State Cyclones. Following his senior year, he was drafted by the Vancouver Grizzlies with the 27th pick of the 2001 NBA draft and was immediately dealt to the Atlanta Hawks, and then to the Indiana Pacers on draft night. Tinsley played 11 seasons in the NBA, primarily with the Pacers, as well as the Grizzlies and Jazz.

Oakland finished the season 26–9 overall, 17–1 in The Summit League and were the league's regular season and conference tournament champions. The Golden Grizzlies received The Summit League's automatic berth into the NCAA tournament and, as a No. 14 seed, lost to No. 3 Pittsburgh in the first round.
Reginald Lamont Hamilton Jr. is an American former professional basketball player. In 2011–12, his senior year at Oakland University, Hamilton averaged 26.2 points per game to lead all of NCAA Division I in scoring. He scored 2,188 points between his time spent at UMKC and Oakland.

They were invited to the 2013 CIT where they lost in the first round to Youngstown State. This was the Golden Grizzlies last year as a member of The Summit League as they joined the Horizon League in the 2013–14 season.
Andrew Michael Harrison is an American professional basketball player who plays for Semt77 Yalovaspor of the TBL. He was considered one of the top recruits for 2013. He attended Travis High School in Richmond, Texas, and played college basketball for the University of Kentucky along with his twin brother, Aaron Harrison.
Tyus Robert Jones is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The older brother of NBA player Tre Jones, he previously played for his hometown team, the Minnesota Timberwolves for four seasons, before signing with the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2019 offseason. After 4 seasons with the team, he was traded to the Washington Wizards. He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils in his freshman season as part of the 2014–15 National Championship team.
