Odda Fotball Klubb is a Norwegian association football club from the town of Odda in Odda municipality in Hordaland county.

It was founded on 1 December 1992 as a merger between Odda IL and Fonna. Its first sponsor was Norzink. [1]

The men's football team currently plays in the Sixth Division, the seventh tier of Norwegian football league system. Its most famous former player is Håkon Opdal.

Nordmannslågen is a lake in the municipality of Eidfjord in Vestland county, Norway. At 11.09 square kilometres (4.28 sq mi), it is the largest lake in Hordaland county. The lake lies on the great Hardangervidda plateau in the central part of the Hardangervidda National Park. The lake lies about 35 kilometres (22 mi) southeast of the village of Eidfjord and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of the town of Odda. The European route E134 highway runs along the northern end of the lake, and the Norwegian National Road 13 runs along the western shore of the lake.

The 5.05-square-kilometre (1.95 sq mi) lake lies on the Hardangervidda plateau, inside the Hardangervidda National Park. The alpine lake is located 35 kilometres (22 mi) straight east of the town of Odda and about 45 kilometres (28 mi) south of the village of Eidfjord. There are over 500 lakes in Ullensvang municipality and this one is the largest of all of them.

Sandvinvatnet is a lake in Ullensvang Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The 4.3-square-kilometre (1.7 sq mi) lake lies on the southern edge of the town of Odda. The Buerdalen valley and Buarbreen glacier lie to the east of the lake. The Norwegian National Road 13 runs along the east side of the lake. The lake water flows north into the short river Opo, before entering the Sørfjorden.

Odda Rutebuss AS is a bus company that operates in Odda, Norway. Founded in the 1924, it operates 11 buses with 16 employees, transporting 250,000 passengers per year. In 2008 it lost the public service obligation tender for Odda to Tide Buss, after which Odda Rutebuss remains only as a charter operator.

Langavatnet is a lake in Ullensvang Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The 6.19-square-kilometre (2.39 sq mi) lake lies about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) straight east of the town of Odda. The lake has a dam at the north end to regulate the water level for the purposes of hydroelectric power generation. The water of the lake previously flowed north to create the large Ringedalsfossen waterfall which now only flows when the lake gets too full. The water flows over the falls into the lake Ringedalsvatnet before flowing through the short river Tysso which empties into the Sørfjorden.

Sørfjorden (Hardanger) Body of water

Sørfjorden is a 38-kilometre (24 mi) long fjord that is one of the innermost branches of the main Hardangerfjorden. It is located in Ullensvang Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is the longest arm that branches off of the Hardangerfjord. Sørfjorden stretches from just north of the village of Kinsarvik straight south to the industrial town of Odda. The Folgefonna glacier and Folgefonna National Park are located just to the west of the fjord and the Hardangervidda mountain plateau lies to its east.

Odda (town) Town in Western Norway, Norway

Odda  is a town in Ullensvang Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The town is the administrative centre of the municipality and the largest urban area in the whole Hardanger district. The town is located at the southern end of the Sørfjorden, in a narrow valley between towering mountains and the lake Sandvinvatnet to the south. The large Folgefonna glacier lies just west of Odda, high up in the mountains. The village of Odda was declared a "town" in 2004.

Odda Church Church in Vestland, Norway

Odda Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Ullensvang Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the town of Odda. It is the church for the Odda parish which is part of the Hardanger og Voss prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The off-white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1870 using plans drawn up the architect C. Erichsen. The church seats about 500 people.

Hardanger District Court was a district court in the Hardanger region of Vestland county, Norway. The court was based in the village of Lofthus in Ullensvang Municipality, but it also has courts in Norheimsund and Odda. The court existed from 1919 until 2021. It had jurisdiction over the municipalities of Eidfjord, Kvam, Ullensvang, and Ulvik. Cases from this court could be appealed to Gulating Court of Appeal.
