Of Birds, Bees, Butterflies, Etc. is the second studio album by American house music group Late Night Alumni. It was released through Ultra Records as a digital download on November 3, 2009 with the physical CD being released later on February 2, 2010.

House music is a genre of electronic dance music created by club DJs and music producers in Chicago in the early 1980s. Early house music was generally characterized by repetitive 4/4 beats, rhythms provided by drum machines, off-beat hi-hat cymbals, and synthesized basslines. While house displayed several characteristics similar to disco music, which preceded and influenced it, as both were DJ and record producer-created dance music, house was more electronic and minimalistic. The mechanical, repetitive rhythm of house was one of its main components. Many house compositions were instrumental, with no vocals; some had singing throughout the song with lyrics; and some had singing but no actual words.
Late Night Alumni is an American house group composed of Becky Jean Williams, John Hancock, Finn Bjarnson and Ryan Raddon (Kaskade). They are primarily known for mixing dance music with strings and soft trance-like vocals.
On September 1, 2009, the group released "You Can Be the One" as their first single from the album. The singles contains remixes by Sultan & Ned Shepard, Killgore & John Hollow, while the Sultan & Ned Shepard remix became its own single later on September 22, 2009. A music video for the live version of the song was uploaded to Late Night Alumni's YouTube channel on October 12, 2009, and it has often been compare to Kaskade's music video for his song, "4AM", with Becky Jean Williams. Another single for the song "Finally Found" was released on December 22, 2009, as well as a music video on March 16, 2010.

The Bee Gees were a pop music group formed in 1958. Their lineup consisted of brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb. The trio were especially successful as a popular music act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and later as prominent performers of the disco music era in the mid-to-late 1970s. The group sang recognisable three-part tight harmonies; Robin's clear vibrato lead vocals were a hallmark of their earlier hits, while Barry's R&B falsetto became their signature sound during the mid-to-late 1970s and 1980s. "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" is a song by the American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins and the lead single from their 1995 double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. The song won the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance. This song was the band's first Top 40 U.S. hit, peaking at number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also spent six weeks at number two on the Modern Rock Tracks chart, and peaked at number four on the Mainstream Rock chart. Buckcherry is an American rock band from Anaheim, California, formed in 1995. The band released two albums, Buckcherry (1999) and Time Bomb (2001), before dissolving in 2002. In 2005, lead vocalist Josh Todd and lead guitarist Keith Nelson reformed Buckcherry with a new lineup and released a new album in 2006, 15. It contained Buckcherry's biggest crossover hits to date, "Crazy Bitch", and their first Billboard Hot 100 top ten hit, "Sorry". Their fourth album, Black Butterfly, was released in 2008, and their fifth album, All Night Long, was released in 2010. Tonic is an American rock band, formed in 1993 by Emerson Hart and Jeff Russo. Later members have included Dan Lavery, Kevin Shepard, and Dan Rothchild. Signed to a recording contract in 1995, the band released its debut album Lemon Parade in 1996. The single "If You Could Only See" reached No. 11 on the Billboard Airplay Hot 100, and Lemon Parade itself reached platinum status.
