Worship
A weekly service is held each Sunday beginning at 11 A.M. Led by the Rev. Mike Watson, each service is relaxed yet spiritually focused. Child care is provided during this time.
OPC often has special musical guests during the worship time. In the past they have hosted The Choral Guild of Atlanta, The Oglethorpe University Choir and many other talented performers.
Communion is celebrated approximately monthly, and follows the liturgical calendar. All Christians are invited to participate whether or not they are members of OPC.
After the worship service, refreshments are served in the Narthex of the church. This is a wonderful time to meet new friends and catch up with old ones.

Sunrise Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA). The church is located in the Miami Lakes and Hialeah area of North Miami-Dade County, Florida. It was one of the earliest multicultural congregations in the American Southeast.
The Presbyterian Church in Westfield, New Jersey was established in 1728, when twelve to eighteen of the early settlers built a log house for worship near what is now Benson Place.
St. Paul United Methodist Church is located in the historic Grant Park neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. For a time in the early 1900s, St. Paul had the largest Methodist congregation in the Southeastern United States. The church organ was acquired at the Cotton States Exhibition in 1887. St. Paul's stained glass windows, which date back to 1907, are being refurbished. St. Paul is a main stop on tours of the Grant Park neighborhood given by the Atlanta Preservation Center. St. Paul is also home to the Grant Park Cooperative Preschool. St. Paul, the Grant Park Cooperative Preschool and the Grant Park Parent Network host the annual Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes, which also includes an artist marketplace and a Winter Wonderland for children. The Candlelight Tour of Homes begins at St. Paul.
The First Presbyterian Church is a historic church building in Utica, New York. The church and its related McKinnon House were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The structures are notable for their early twentieth century design and architecture.
The National Presbyterian Church is a Christian congregation of approximately 1,500 members of all ages from the greater metropolitan Washington, D.C., area. The mission statement of the church is "Leading People to Become Faithful Followers of Jesus Christ Together in God’s World"
The First Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, New York was the first organized religious body formed in what was then the western frontier of New York State. The town of Buffalo was sparsely populated when the church was organized on February 2, 1812. However, having survived the War of 1812, the town of Buffalo was rebuilt and rapidly grew with the completion of the Erie Canal in 1825. The first two buildings were located on the same downtown lot. However, the congregation relocated between 1889 and 1891 to its present location approximately one and-a-half miles to the north in a more residential area.
First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) located in the Midtown section of Atlanta, Georgia. First Presbyterian Church was founded in 1848, and it was Atlanta's first Presbyterian house of worship. The original church building on Marietta Street was vacated in April 1916 and the property was sold to the U.S. government for the construction of the headquarters of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. The current church building on Peachtree Street was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.
The first Tamil worship service in Atlanta was organized in one of the Baptist Churches in the city in the year 1994 under the guidance of the Language Missions Board of the Georgia Baptist Convention sponsored by the North American Mission Board. Daniel Thayakaran served as the pastor during this time. Since then, the group met as a fellowship of Indian Christians with Tamil as their main language and was the first Tamil congregation in Atlanta. The order of worship was in Tamil and was widely appreciated for the mission.
The Old Presbyterian Meeting House is a Christian church in Alexandria, Virginia. It is part of the National Capital Presbytery and the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic of the Presbyterian Church (USA). The campus was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. The church also lies within the bounds of the Alexandria Historic District.
North Raleigh United Methodist Church is a United Methodist church in northern Raleigh, North Carolina, United States of America located at 8501 Honeycutt Road. It is a member of the North Carolina Annual Conference and is under the jurisdiction of Bishop Hope Morgan Ward.
St. Mark's Episcopal Church was a historic church at 9 Summer Street in Augusta, Maine, just west of downtown. The congregation, founded in 1840, occupied an 1886 Gothic Revival stone building designed by Richard M. Upjohn and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 for its architecture. The congregation moved out in 2015.
Moscow United Methodist Church is located in Moscow, Pennsylvania, on Church Street near Main Street. It is a church of the United Methodist Church that operates in the Susquehanna Conference.
Peachtree Presbyterian Church is a megachurch located in Atlanta, Georgia. Peachtree averages about 3200 in weekly worship at two venues on both sides of Roswell Road in the Buckhead region of Atlanta, and is one of the largest Presbyterian congregations in the United States of America.
First Presbyterian Church is located in Marion, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
Village Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian Church (USA) located in Prairie Village, Kansas. The church was founded in 1949 with 282 members, and has since grown to be one of the largest Presbyterian Churches in America with a reported 4,789 members in 2013. The church's mission statement is “to see and relate to every person in our communities and the world as loved by God.”
Evensong is the common name for a Christian church service originating in the Anglican tradition as part of the reformed practice of the Daily Office or canonical hours. The service may also be referred to as Evening Prayer, but Evensong is the more common name when the service is musical.
Grace Episcopal Church is an active and historic Episcopal church in Madison, New Jersey, United States. Established in 1854, Grace has the largest membership of any parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Newark, with traditional "high church" Christian worship and a strong choral music program.
