"Oh Yeah" was the second single from the British indie rock band The Subways, off of their debut record Young for Eternity . [1]

It features in the episode of Rescue Me , "Karate" in the scene where the character Lou shaved his testicles.

Two music videos were created for the song. The original, released when the band was under Infectious Records, features the band playing the song inside. The newer video, filmed after they signed with Warner Brothers, shows the band playing the song in a building while girls in short skirts go about on rollerskates. The latter was directed by Brett Simon. [2]

The song features in an advertisement for football in The Sun newspaper.

It also features in British TV advertisements for Rimmel, the movie Live Free or Die Hard, the 2008 German movie Die Welle as well as appearing on the soundtracks of EA Sports games Rugby 06 and FIFA Street 2. In 2008, the song appeared in the video games Saints Row 2, Pure and Forza Horizon. It was used in the scene to introduce Evers boys in the Netflix film The School for Good and Evil. The song was also used in the trailer and nightclub scene for the film RocknRolla, in which they appear performing the song.

Band members Billie Joe Armstrong, Tré Cool, and Mike Dirnt all co-wrote the song, which samples Joan Jett's cover of "Do You Wanna Touch Me". "Oh Yeah!" was released on January 16, 2020, through Reprise Records as the album's third single. It later made its radio debut on January 28, 2020.
