Windhoek, (pronunciation:), is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Namibia. It is located in central Namibia in the Khomas Highland plateau area, at around 1,700 metres (5,600 ft) above sea level, almost exactly at the country's geographical centre. The population of Windhoek in 2011 was 325,858, growing continually due to an influx from all over Namibia.
The National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO) is a political party in Namibia. Esther Utjiua Muinjangue became the party’s first elected female president and the first elected female leader of a Namibian political party when she defeated the Okakarara constituency councillor, Vetaruhe Kandorozu, at the party’s third elective congress, which took place on 25-26 March 2019. At the elective congress, which was held in Windhoek, Peter Kazongominja was elected vice president and Joseph Kauandenge was elected secretary-general of the party. Muinjangue defeated the councillor by 240 to 227 votes. NUDO has been represented in the National Assembly of Namibia and in the National Council of Namibia since it split from the Democratic Turnhalle Alliance prior to the 2004 general and local elections.
Otjiwarongo is a city of 28,000 inhabitants in the Otjozondjupa Region of Namibia. It is the district capital of the Otjiwarongo electoral constituency and also the capital of Otjozondjupa.
Rundu is the capital of the Kavango-East Region, northern Namibia, on the border with Angola on the banks of the Kavango River about 1,000 metres above sea level. She has been a member of the National Assembly of Namibia since 1995 and served as Minister of Finance from 2003 to 2015. She is the first woman to serve as Prime Minister of Namibia.

Asser Mbai is a Namibian politician who has been President of the National Unity Democratic Organization (NUDO) since 2014, and a member of the National Assembly of Namibia since 2005. He succeeded Kuaima Riruako as President of NUDO after the latter's death on 2 June 2014.

The National Heritage Council of Namibia (NHC) is a government organization in Namibia responsible for historic preservation.
