The Olavarria Municipal Orchestra is an Argentinian orchestra based in Olavarria. Founded in 1961, it is based in the Municipal Theatre of Olavarria and is considered one of the most prestigious orchestras in its nation.
Since its creation in 1961 the Municipal Orchestra Stable, current Municipal Symphony Orchestra, he has performed extensively in Olavarria and a wide area in the center of the Province of Buenos Aires; in addition to several presentations in major cities like Buenos Aires by National Radio and Television Channel 7; in Mar del Plata on channel 8 and the Teatro Solis in Montevideo, concerts giving hierarchy and renown to the orchestra. It stresses that the Olavarría Symphonic Orchestra was one of the first Argentine orchestras that performed since 1961 a comprehensive and continuous cycle of educational concerts at elementary schools. From the date of its creation performed more than 500 concerts.
After a hiatus of seven years of inactivity, the Municipal Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of its owner, the master Mario Patané, resumed his cultural work in 1993, with the support of the municipal authorities and the community of Olavarria.
During the 1994 season featured 24 Symphony concerts.
During the 1997 season the Symphonic Orchestra of Olavarria offered symphony concerts in the cities of Bolivar, Henderson, Daireaux and the Golden Hall of the Municipality of La Plata (second year).
Orchestra depends on the Department of Culture and Education of the Municipality of Olavarria.
Astor Pantaleón Piazzolla was an Argentine tango composer, bandoneon player, and arranger. His works revolutionized the traditional tango into a new style termed nuevo tango, incorporating elements from jazz and classical music. A virtuoso bandoneonist, he regularly performed his own compositions with a variety of ensembles. In 1992, American music critic Stephen Holden described Piazzolla as "the world's foremost composer of Tango music".

Ernesto Acher is an Argentine comedian, actor, composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist and orchestral conductor. Between 1971 and 1986 he was a member of the celebrated Argentine group Les Luthiers, with which he acted as composer, comedian, singer, and performer on more than twenty instruments, some of which he created himself. Before separating from the group, he was involved in individual projects as composer – including a soundtrack, a quartet for clarinet and strings, a string sextet and a symphonic poem for viola and orchestra. In 1988 he founded the La Banda Elástica (The Elastic Band), gathering some of the most outstanding Argentine jazz musicians. The band dissolved in 1993. Since then he has developed several musical and comedy projects, and performed as an orchestral conductor.

The Province of Buenos Aires Railway was a state-owned company that operated a 902 km 1,000 mmmetre gauge railway network in the Province of Buenos Aires in Argentina. Founded in 1907 as the "Ferrocarril Provincial del Puerto de La Plata al Meridiano V", the company changed its name to FCPBA in 1924. In 1951 it was taken into state ownership and in 1953 it was absorbed by the state-owned Belgrano Railway. The FCPBA should not confused with the similarly named French–owned Compañía General which also operated in the Province.

The Buenos Aires Great Southern Railway (BAGS) was one of the Big Four broad gauge, 5 ft 6 in, British-owned companies that built and operated railway networks in Argentina. The company was founded by Edward Lumb in 1862 and the first general manager was Edward Banfield after whom the Buenos Aires suburban station of Banfield was named, when it opened in 1873. After president Juan Perón nationalised the Argentine railway network in 1948 it became part of the state-owned company Ferrocarril General Roca.

Yehuda Julio Glantz is a musician, composer, singer, songwriter and producer living in Jerusalem Israel. Named and recognized as Cultural Ambassador of Latin Hebrew Music from Israel to the world. Glantz is a multi-instrumentalist playing on the Charango, piano, accordion, siku, pincuyo, guitar, flute, cuatro and is also a percussionist. Yehuda has twice received the first place award in the klezmer Safed festival for his performance and compositions. In 2008, Yehuda founded the Regalim Festival in the City Center of Jerusalem. The festival takes place during both Sukkoth and Passover holidays and attracts thousands of visitors from around the world.
Miguel Ángel Girollet (1947–1996) was an Argentinian classical guitar player whose repertoire included music from the 16th century to the contemporary era. In the 1970s, he formed part of the renowned Martínez Zárate String Quartet. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1947, and died in Madrid, Spain, in 1996.
Miguel Ángel Gilardi is an Argentine orchestra conductor. He has conducted throughout the world, recorded many concerts and received several awards, including the 2010 Premio Bicentenario.

He is one of very few high-profile international musicians concentrating exclusively on the creation, performance and promotion of melodic, universally appealing classical music. His compositions are performed all over the world for their evocative and passionate character. Considered a pioneer performer of classical piano improvisations since his youth, he toured Europe, Asia, North and South America premiering his own works as a soloist, performing with international orchestras. Piatti is a member of the Royal Society Of Musicians Of Great Britain, the Ivors Academy and the British Music Society among others.
