The Old church of Saint Bartholomew is a fortified church in Gliwice in the Silesian Voivodeship of Poland.
Originally, it was built in Romanesque style about 1232 and situated far outside the defensive walls of the city.
In the 15th century, it was enlarged in Gothic style. The western tower was enhanced using brick. Its character is rather military, than that of a steeple.
A renovation of the building is intended.

The parish church St. Bartholomew's Church is the town church of Themar in Thuringia. It is dedicated to St. Bartholomew. It belongs to the most richly equipped churches of the upper valley of the Werra. It is one of the few buildings of the small town, first mentioned in 796, which outlasted all storms of the time. The Oberkirche at the upper gate and the Unterkirche at the Werra were the first places of worship in the place. There still exist some remainders of the Romanesque Unterkirche in the vestry and in both lower floors of the church tower.
